Just caught word that a friend of a friend bumped into ol' Hot Saucerman at the New Years Eve Phish show at MSG last night. He stopped one of his friends and got him for a brief interview. Also said that Saucerman did looked to be pretty spun out. So it sounds like ol' Scott-o-bot followed through with both of his promises. I'm guessing we should have a pretty amazing episode on the horizon! Can't wait to hear about the experience, although I'm doubtful that going to the show has really swayed Scott's opinions in anyway, even if it WAS accompanied by MDMA and nitrous balloons. @Elizabeth: Yes! Spot on! But my sincerest apologies for conjuring additional horrific memories for you from this horror den of childhood shame and ridicule. Although it's comforting to know that we are no longer alone in our distaste for the Ground Round and their judgemental ways. We are now united in this sacred bond. Anyschwaaa...Keep up the good work! I'm somewhat new to the podcast but absolutely loving it! So many great guests. Can't wait to see who else comes along!

I'm pretty sure the restaurant Elizabeth is talking about was called "The Ground Round". We had one here in Upstate NY for a looooong time. I would often suffer the same embarassment when I was younger, being the chubber who stepped on that awful scale and always made his parents pay more for his meal because he was too fat. I would obviously catch ridicule throughout our time there if we happened to be with other young family members, which of course was always the case. I absolutely hated going. Thanks for provoking early body judgement and ripping away all self confidence before age 10, Mom and Dad. So I feel your pain Elizabeth. Ground Round can go suck a floppy. Ev

Ooooh i see. Thank you. I'm a new member and I guess I hadn't found that info yet. Appreciate it! I'm so glad Bob will still be with us

...Bob has not been posting daily as of late. I understand the amount of time that must go into writing and recording Affirmation Nation, and if our buddy 'Bob' needs a break or some breathing room, that is completely acceptable. But it's made me somewhat fearful that this is the potential downslope of Affirmation Nation and is marking the slow demise of it's existence. PLEASE SAY IT AIN'T SO! Affirmation Nation is easily the funniest (and most spiritual) podcast being offered right now (aside from other choice Earwolf podcasts of course). Friends and I have never laughed so hard as we regularly listen to Ducca over, and over on a weekly basis. I simply don't want to see the genius and insight of Bob's teachings be swept under the rug. He's taught us so much.... I hope to get some affirmation that I have no reason to be in fear of Bob leaving us...
