  1. I'd love to get Gervais on but unfortunately if I could get him, it wouldn't be to do TWD, it would be one of our bigger comedy shows. I'll look into Herring, I haven't heard of him until now.

Cyber Thug Radio will never return, no matter how many people ask. Can't happen.

I can try for Rose and Albrecht, although they are tough gets as well.

    Thanks for the comments!

  3. Thanks for all the comments everyone. I enjoyed this episode a lot. Dave and Greg are both very funny and sincere guys who are VERY easy to talk to for a long time. I'm glad I got the chance. The Wolf Den has afforded me the opportunity to chat with some amazing people.

And thanks David, that's good advice.

  4. Steve - Thanks for sharing. You are proving me right. I didn't think this was a very funny podcast and I was certainly concerned that I wouldn't be able to sell any advertising in it. I can't believe I let Scott and Brett talk me into releasing it. Now I know that it wasn't just me, this show sucks and definitely doesn't belong at Earwolf. We're trying really hard to be a professional, upstanding, corporate company and there is no place for Brett Gelman or his "rap" songs here.

When I asked him to stop cursing so much, he said, "Go fuck yourself, sir." So he is polite but clearly doesn't respect me or Earwolf the institution.

  5. @Steve - The Cranston interview was great!

@Erik - Thanks for sharing. Keep us posted on the progress.

@Good - I'll try and address the condescending part of your comment on the next episode, I got that feedback from someone else as well. That certainly wasn't my intention but I know it came off that way. Regarding your statement, "Most podcasts record from home.", the only show that doesn't record in our studio is Totally Laime which debuts tonight. Otherwise all of our shows record from our studio. I'm curious as to why you thought they didn't? That concerns me if our shows sound like they are recorded without much effort.

We haven't sold any ads yet.

  6. @B Naylor - You are right. Not the classiest thing I've ever done. It's just hard to be present in the forums for those of you who are great to interact with and not every once in a while let other noise annoy you. And I was in a particularly bad mood on top of it, I probably shouldn't have even been on the forums. I would remove it but then the rest of the comments won't make sense and I guess I should stand by what I posted. Although I'd prefer I hadn't posted at all.

@Bucho - You too are correct.

Thanks for supporting me even when I am not at my best.

  7. Hi All - We never talk about new shows before they are released. The reason for that is a million things could happen that would prevent it from happening. The host could get a movie/tv role. They could change their mind. Their lawyer could get in the way of the contract. We may not be able to agree on format. We may listen to the pilot and pass on the show. We may never hear from them again. Any of these things could and do happen.

Regarding a Gelman show, I know he and Scott teased one on CBB a while back on the Harris and David Guy Levy ep. But it shouldn't have been considered an announcement (fans of the show should know better than to trust those two) and I hope no one is expecting a Brett Gelman Earwolf show anytime soon. Sorry!

  8. Hi Brandon - I know Scott was hoping to do a Season 2 and like you said, originally was shooting for September. Unfortunately he's been super busy and as far as I know hasn't had a chance to start writing yet. And I'm not sure when or if he will. So I guess this is the worst news for you: I don't know if or when there will be a Season 2. I can say that Scott loves the show and wants to put it out.

  9. First of all, Shahruz, I'm very proud of you.

I've let Dirk rile me up a few times in these forums. No longer. You see, I clicked on his Twitter profile and saw his picture. With a bird sitting on his shoulder. Then I left my client and went to his actual Twitter page and saw his wallpaper.

These two visuals leave me feeling foolish that I could let someone like that upset me. I don't know what any of his 40 followers see in him. Photos attached of @lordthree account.
