Todd Zuniga used to head 2 sports video game podcasts. The Sports Anomaly and 4th String. I don't know dick about sports or sports video games, but Todd was endlessly entertaining and insane. I stopped listening to this episode halfway through to youtube some Scharpling. Definitely loving this guy. I came across this video and came here to post it, but ya beat me to it. Amazing stuff. Thanks for this episode Jake. Now I've got a 13 years of backlog to work through I guess.

I guess I've only bought 2 brand new albums this year.
The Rilo Kiley Bsides collection and the new Bad Religion album. I think if there was a podcast about new music, I'd be more invested.
For music discovery in general, Christian Finnegan has a pretty great podcast called Audio Spackle which I'd recommend.

Somehow I missed the Todd Glass episode?!!?! How the fuck did that happen?!
I grew up in Jersey about 30 mins (if memory serves) from Philly. That news theme song brought me back so goddamn hard. What an amazing piece of instrumentation.

The Lone Ranger wasn't terrible, but it did feel like 3 or 4 different movies mashed together. The parts that were legit western-y were good. The screwball comedy was terrible. Being white, I'm not going to say that something wasn't racist, since I don't think I have the background to make such an assertion, but aside from Depp, it seemed to me that the movie had at least some conscience when it came to dealing with the slaughter of Native Americans.
