Episode 123 — No Scoop for You

You'll notice The Bangles don't answer Amy. And they don't play Would You Rather. Dun dun dun!

Episode 123 — No Scoop for You

The world needs more Amy Poehler freestyling. That was adorable.

  7. Speaking of Karl Chandler, who just spoke, I recommend his twitter. I've been following him for a few weeks or so, and he's already my favorite twitter...person ever. Nothing but gold comes from his brain and fingertips. http://twitter.com/karlchandler

    Top 5 CBB/CDR Moments

Just a random 5 off the top of my head: - Marissa Wompler reading "The Outlander" "Have anybody in this room read it?" - The Halloween Freestyle - The courtroom scene and boardroom meeting from episode 24 - Charlyne Yi: "Does your friend have a problem?" Scott: "First of all, let me be very clear: he's not my friend." Charlyne: "Then why are you holding hands?" - "Larry, hey Larry, I'm tapping you on the shoulder. I think Bernie's dead. La la la. Something something and then it goes on from there."

  13. Crap. That was like a punch in the stomach. I'm genuinely sad right now. Never thought I'd feel this way about a podcast. Well done, Earwolf Challenge. (For making me care so much, which proves this is a great idea for a podcast.) I'm sure I'd feel differently had the decision gone the other way, but how can you not judge the two contestants on their overall performance at this point? You should take into account all of their strengths and weaknesses. How have they grown and improved throughout the competition? Granted, you'd still probably pick Totally Laime anyway, because they're a "better fit," but why should it be based solely on this week's submission? That hasn't always been the case from week to week, so why now? A slightly better submission in the final week doesn't negate all of the weak submissions from the past. - And why is Totally Laime a better fit anyway? How is a podcast from a different continent not a better fit? Every week we are introduced to new comedians with TLDDC, whereas Totally Laime has the same guests we can find on every other podcast. Not to mention you'd also be gaining new fans from that lovely continent. I love you guys, but I'm a sad panda. Congrats to Totally Laime. I won't take it out on you. I'll subscribe to your podcast. Earwolf for life.

  19. Luke McGregor is delightful. At this point I mostly want LDDC to win because they might not take a loss too well, and they might burn some bridges. The frustration they're showing lately is a bit hard for me to listen to. And all of it stems from stupid flights from Australia to L.A. being so expensive.
