  1. There are some big horse races going on in my town right now, so if any of you want to meet estate agents wearing tweed jackets or ladies wearing ridiculous hats get thee down to Cheltenham asap.
  2. Two podcast guest spots, two references to lying to your parents so you can jerk off. Seems to really be on Hayes' mind. Edit: never mind, should have listened longer, Hayes pointed it out himself.
  3. I'm 6'5", this is a huge disappointment to me.
  4. Who's the Number 1 Tall Boy?
  5. Notes: Was Edgar Wright Kumail's bully? Seriously, what is a shingle? Zsinjeh has a Binocular Rift, he should test out their game What did happen to Courteney Cox? Rachel had that movie written by the Survivorman where she got all wet, but I don't know about any Courteney movies Hayes' cutscene joke is the best joke ever and they can shut down Earwolf now Sean's dad is a retired police officer - I thought he was a farm orphan? This Number One nerd just does not understand computer huh? I was wrong, Axe Box was the best joke They don't really like to talk to their listeners on the forums, they seem to actually like to watch the listeners talk amongst themselves
  6. The "Hayes" brand is one of authoritative leadership, so a subordinate "guest" position just isn't on-message. Sean, meanwhile, is more "goofball class clown". It's a real Pinky and the Brain dynamic.
  7. Kumail, 1. What was it like working with The Babe on your nerd show? 2. You've said that your favourite game is The Game by Neil Strauss. What's the best neg you've ever done? 3. Have you ever been talking to your grandma while a man approaches you through fog, and as he gets closer you exclaim your surprise when you realise it's Arnold Schwarzenegger by saying "Coo, male? Nan, gee, Arnie!"
  8. Notes time!: 161MB?! Uh, is podcasts FLAC now lol Sean knows models' names and he made a The Game reference last week - because of this I can tell he is a cool alpha bro like me who loves ladies and boobies and butties and so forth. Hayes was so close to getting Sean to say Reality Bites The Lootcrate guy from my train pic last week is reading a manga - he is too much of a nerd and it is getting difficult to keep resisting the urge to shove him into a locker or kick sand into his face at the beach Sean seems riled up about these Isis guys and you just know he is itching to just destroy them with a great big punch - uh, I have a idea, Obama - why not just unleash him in Middle East? Too scared about the oils? What's a shingle? All these podcasts are giving a strong UTU2TM vibe. Wagwan with all the lottery tickets?
  9. This is scary. I had no idea Amy Poehler was such a computer hacker. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAZtHXwf3V8
  10. Is Cast Away not good films? I liked it. ★★★★★
  11. There's a mildly interesting podcast episode about the Toilet Bowl guy: http://www.onthemedia.org/story/tldr-hundred-songs/
  12. OK, I'll drop my masterful weave of irony and sarcasm just this once. I felt comfortable taking pot shots at you because 1) it's a running joke on the show and 2) I like you (and all other posters here) and, at least in the UK, taking the piss out of your friends is an expression of familiarity and comfort with them. I thought everyone was operating on those same rules, but if I've misread the room or taken it too far somebody please let me know because the thought of Chanson crying himself to sleep in his cabin makes me feel guilty.
  13. I don't care about what colour a dress is, they all look the same crumpled on my bedroom floor (i like to wear women's clothes) I'm in for Sunday Funday too.
  14. Currently watching the hangout, "I think the Wailers are Japanese" is best joke of the night so far. P.S. does anyone know if there's a way to mute a certain persons audio on a recorded Hangout? No particular reason, asking for a friend.
  15. Like a stupid dummy I didn't check the forums last night or I'd have stayed up.
  16. Yes, Mr Anchorman's wavery voice during the intro did make me a little teary. It also let me know that it was cool to just start being dumb and silly on this forum again, because Harris wouldn't have wanted people to be all serious and sombre. My favourite Harris bit probably changes depending on which episode I heard last. But the one that springs to mind is when he and Adam were doing characters that kept going into characters, and the quality degraded each level they went down. I thought that was so clever and funny and original, which I guess are very 'Harris' qualities.
  17. Now that is a goddamned JOKE, right there. Bravo.
  18. Everyone in this is being very funny and cool, and I think "y'all" should watch it.
  19. Not to detract from what was a sincerely touching post, but this does sound like an origin story for a lame superhero.
  20. I remember the only other time I "got" a celebrity death was Phillip Seymour Hoffman and this feels very similar. It isn't just the sadness of losing someone you loved and respected and admired, but also the disappointment of their work suddenly stopping. What new hilarious things could he have brought us in another year? Five years? I enjoyed everything he did, it's so sad. And I didn't even know him, I can't imagine what his family and friends are going through.
  21. This is just awful. I still have the You Made It Weird episode sitting in my queue, this is going to suck.
  22. I'm down for a Hangout, gotta find out all the latest gossip. P.S. Bruce please don't kill yourself but if you're going to anyway, use a potato gun for the irony.
