4. Could you ask Sean why he didn't like my vaccine post? Did he just not see it? (Remind him it was funny and cool)

I've been with CBB since the early double digits, and most other Earwolf shows followed from there. But I didn't listen to RSS because why would I listen to a show about a topic that didn't interest me with hosts I'd never heard of?
Β
I got into HH through a Podmass review of the Lamorne Morris episode, immediately listened to the rest, then worked my way through RSS too.

All this stand up talk reminds me of the time I did stand up.

I was in New York back in the early '90s and found myself in a comedy club. There was supposed to be this big star there doing jokes or whatever but he never showed up, so the owner of the club came up to me and asked if I wanted to take his place. I warned him that I had never done jokes before but he said I was so good-looking and cool that he was sure I could do it.
Β
Anyway, I got up and improvised a totally rando observ that slayed. Then I followed up with a one-two gut punch of bazonko killer funnies, and one guy died of laughing too much. Then there was a guy at the side of the stage and he was on the phone saying "Chris! Chris, it's Marvin. Your cousin, Marvin Rock. You know that new sound you're looking for? Well, listen to this!". They wanted me to sign for Deaf Jam or something but I didn't want to because comedy isn't art.

Sean's scene in Parks and Rec had a real sense of ADR about it. I think this confirms the rumour I heard that Amy Poehler will start randomly screaming during filming if she feels any of the other actors are being funnier than her.

Vaccines are so dumb lol. Why would I need medicine for a disease I don't even have yet? Just docs looking for another pay day.

Whoever suggested relistening to the Erin Gibson RSS episode, f u, because now I've spent a hour watching a Scotty Doesn't Know lyrics video on repeat.

Excited about the new ep tomorrow, bit worried about the lack of PG consultation but fingers crossed they can still do a funny show.
Β
Has anyone else watched Project Improviser? I'm halfway through. It's pretty good but I don't think I've learned anything about improv other than Mantzoukas is straight up dashing when clean-shaven.

You can't see my eyes in this photo, but they were sparkling with joy.
Β
Is this the latest forum trend? Pics with S or H? Because I love it.
Β
P.S. Is that the cardigan from the Paul F Tompkins ep? Very cool that they wear they own clothes rather than rely on the Earwolf costume department, so much more vΓ©ritΓ©.
Β
P.P.S. did he seem scared that three internet strangers were approaching him?

I like the normal logo one, but if the pattern also covered the sleeves and the logo parts were a little smaller it would be an insta-buy, shipping fees be damned.

In the meantime, I got distracted and made this quick mockup of another idea, which is obviously not economically/legally viable, but something I would pay a lot of money for.

Β
EDIT: More. Including rough pass of Bozos' suggestion.
Β
Probably best post of 2014.

If Sean drops ""What up, what up!" then the show has rendered its sole piece of merchandise obsolete.

I guess my post about eps that gave clues to the earwolf location was a little pressing, but surprised it got deleted even after I edited out a lot of it...Β
A few minutes after I posted mine I remembered there was that whole thing with Tig so I just took it all down.
-
Edit: removed walkthrough on how I found the address. Yeah, it's Google-able, but I don't want Chanson to Mark-Chapman Hayes.

Back when Earwolf was in a previous studio they were pretty cagey about the actual location; they only had a PO box address, and Scott shut down a few guests who were going to give out too much info. So I worked out the address from clues in the podcasts and photos. Specifically, the CBB references to being on the first floor, near the Pantages theatre and the Scientology place, and a picture of the sunset from the studio with a bell tower in it.
Β
So I went in to Google Earth and found the general location, turned on 3D buildings, and flew the camera around to find the angle the photo came from. Then a few weeks later Howard Kremer tweeted the actual address to someone who wanted to send in something, and I had got it right!
Β
I guess what I'm trying to say is that it would have saved me a lot of work if the hosts just read out the address on air.

What do I do, I get an email or something? I have a Hangouts app on my phone, is that important?
Episode 68 β Erin Gibson, Our Close Friend

Either there's a bug in the Hangouts app or the last two Hangouts I've picked up my phone just in time to see the call end. Bummer.
