I can't remember which episode, but I think Scott brought this movie up on CBB before. I remember him saying this scene cracked him up.

Episode 46 β€” David Kahn of SModcast

I could listen to Earwolf holiday carols all day!
  3. Though I won't go so far as to give this film a five star review, I will say this is one of my favorite terrible guilty pleasures around the holidays. It's ridiculous and awful, but I don't think it's a boring movie. Also, I'm always interested to know, especially in bad films, what later happened to the child actors. According to Wikipedia, the kid that played Jamie is "best known for his performances in the films Jingle All the Way and Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace." It doesn't look like he's seen much work since. Judging by the two major films he's starred in, I have to say, I'm not surprised.

Episode 55 β€” Crack and Hookers

"Crack and Hookers" ranks pretty high on my chart of favorite Who Charted episode titles.
  5. We'll have more information about the contest posted soon on the Earwolf blog!

    Episode 34 β€” Greed

Thanks for finding a way to do all of the seven deadly sins at once. New goal for my long holiday weekend! - And awesome job to Nathan for his Prof. Blastoff holiday carol!
  7. Thank you so much for your submissions, everyone! We really do appreciate the time you spent writing and recording these amazing carols. We'd like to congratulate the contest winner, Clay! Look out for an upcoming interview with him on the Earwolf blog, as well as hearing his song on at least one of our shows this week. Also, there's a chance a few of the other submissions may make their way onto shows this week as well. (Hint: Listen to today's Prof. Blastoff, as well as Who Charted? and The Wolf Den later this week.) Thank you again for writing these fantastic carols, and have a great holiday!
  8. I have never been more excited for a HDTGM episode! I have seen this movie more times than I care to admit. I saw it in the theater with my family. I've seen it replayed on TV. I've watched it at holiday parties. There is so much to mock, and yet, like so many Arnold Schwarzenegger films, though it's laughable, it's not that boring. This is the perfect holiday choice!

    Episode 25 β€” Catwoman

If you haven't watched the basketball scene that Jason was freaking out about, you HAVE to see it to believe it. It perfectly encapsulates the strangely dated nature of the film, poor CGI, and overall terribleness:

    Episode 29 β€” Father Christmas

Thanks for the shout out, ladies! I sure am going to miss the show until the spring, but what a high note to go out on. I loved the Father Christmas Is My Boyfriend Now song. And now I know what I've been missing - I need to upgrade to mistlefoot if I want to win any seaman's hearts, and lips, this holiday season. Have a great holiday!
  11. This is how Robert Frost was meant to be read. Thanks for tracking down Mr. Freeze for me, Jon! Rafflecast is making dreams come true.
  12. It's like you guys took everything I love in every episode and mashed it up into a mega episode! Too many great moments to comment on, so let me just agree with the other fans that the engineer's timing on the Foam Corner ending theme was, once again, a great punchline. Thanks for the holiday cheer, folks!

    Episode 98 β€” Danger Mouse!

Yay! I loved Artemis on It's Always Sunny; it's great to hear her on the show. And I concur with Robin. I think these 'celebrity encounter' stories would be a fun recurring segment.
  14. Julia

    Episode 3 β€” Gelmania III

"Make a porn version of ALF." Hilarious!
  15. Julia

    Episode 73 β€” Ol\' Cookiebeard

For your consideration, for 1800s sexual moves, I'd like to submit the "Dances with Wolves" as a contender.
  16. Favorite part of this episode... "I'm just a teapot. Bloopy boop." "That's actually creepy for me."
  17. Julia

    Episode 54 β€” False Chart

I agree with you on the neck tats, Howard.
  18. This film has a special place in my heart. I only knew one person who had watched it, a close friend of mine, and when I asked her what she thought, her response was: "...I kinda liked it." I told her that's the quote that should be used in the commercials and on the DVD cover, because I'm relatively sure that's the best that's ever been said about Catwoman.
  19. @Sarah... The third season already aired, but I think they still replay episodes on Thursdays on Adult Swim. Plus, the first two seasons are on DVD. You'll love it!
  20. You celebrate Duccamas too?! All these years I thought I was the only one!

Episode 28 β€” Make It Snow

When Barry O’Metric said "Why don't you stick your goddamn face out the window and look?" I let out a Jimmy Pardo-esque guffaw at my place of employment. Thanks for that, Barry!
  22. I feel like you can tell when it's a CBB After Dark episode. This episode kind of reminds me of Ep. 120 and Ep. 131. There have been so many tellings of A Christmas Carol, but I'm glad we were finally given the version we all wanted to hear - the Cake Boss rendition! Also, I'm just wondering... Since the subject of church attendance came up so many times... does listening to this episode count as having attended church? I'd rather count this than having to make an obligatory annual visit for the holiday.
  23. Valerie, we're not picky regarding sound quality, as this contest is just for fun. There are some cost effective mics, if you are in the market for one, but your camera may do an alright job of recording. When I record, I try out a few rooms in the house, to find the best, most quiet spot for recording. Also, here's an audio forum topic that may be of some use to you: http://www.earwolf.com/forums/topic.php?id=604 Ultimately, we want to encourage you to submit a song, so as there's only a week left to enter yours, please don't worry about setting up an elaborate recording area. We look forward to hearing your submission!

    Episode 72 β€” That\'s So Selleck!

Steve talking about 9/11 made me cry. I like when this show gets real. You fellows can bounce between jokes and serious interviews so seamlessly, which is why this is one of the best podcasts out there. I'm a bit of a newbie to Steve's comedy. I just started watching The League this season and cannot believe I hadn't seen it sooner. It's hilarious, and it has tons of Earwolf hosts and guests, fellow listeners. So you should check it out if you haven't already. P.S. Just when I think James Adomian can't be more amazing, he comes out with a new voice or character I haven't heard him do yet. He made it work!

    Episode 97 β€” Santa Anas!

I'm glad you all survived the wind storms... and Janie's alleged murderous rages.
