Paul addressed why he probably won't be doing that film on the show: http://www.earwolf.com/2011/08/paul-scheer-answers-your-hdtgm-questions/

I thought my day would be horrible after my morning was spent getting screwed over by a mechanic, but this episode made it all much better. Paul F. Tompkin's two episodes have been my favorite Who Charted? episodes (so far)!

Nigel, I don't really have that issue. But I do think there's a notable volume difference between current shows and older episodes of Comedy Bang Bang (back in its early CDR days).

Loved the 'All About Steve' discussion at the end. Jason's feelings toward that film are so hilarious. I'm hoping for an 'All About Steve' sequel just so I can hear Jason's reactions about it.

Little Dum Dum Club was the only clip that made me laugh out loud this week.

Absolutely LOVE the Cheryl song. Great guests, as always. This might be my favorite episode yet! P.S. I've checked out Pinup Girl Clothing before. Cute stuff! Any favorite dresses you'd recommend?

I really loved Gillian's questions in this episode. I think she's been watching a lot of Law & Order. And, of course, I was waiting with bated breath for Andi Callahan's suicidal confession. Thanks for the plugs love, folks!

Is it just me, or is Bruce's voice getting higher every time we hear him? I think he just gets more shrill when he's worked up about something.

Here's my first plugs submission ever! Hope you like it. (Be nice, folks. I'm still a student of the guitar, and not a good one at that.) What's Up Hot Dog Memorial Plugs: http://soundcloud.com/juliahays/whats-up-hot-dog-memorial

Great episode with a very interesting, funny guest. You have a new fan here, Baratunde!

@Chris Tengu... That discussion cracked me up as well. Feel free, if you like, to add it to the "Best Howard quotes and questions" forum topic at: http://www.earwolf.com/forums/topic.php?id=594

Summer, I think you have a good point regarding the editing and proofreading of sketches. The judges had some great feedback about the submissions this week and how they could have improved upon their ideas. I especially liked Matt's comment today about how you need to focus on the funny aspect of a skit. It sounds like a simple note, but I think some of the contestants were so wrapped up in stocking their sketches full of ideas that the "funny" part of the sketches were lost or muddled. Comedy is a lot of work, but if done right, it can seem easy. I'm not saying that people should forget about the details, but it's imperative that you focus on what the purpose and hook of a piece of comedy is going to be. Sometimes "going all out" can leave a sketch confusing or overly complicated.

Haha, I did recognize Seth's voice as the second character as well. Great episode as always. Poor Bob can't catch a break.

Tagline: One way or another, Skyline will make you lose your head.

@Chamberlain... So long as you're not emulating a Val Kilmer or George Clooney Batman, I'll let it slide. Nice job in that sketch!

This movie is terrible. But, I must admit, I really miss the days when Will Smith would release rap songs with the same titles as the films he was in (including this one.)
-
Left Handed Radio's Batman date was my favorite sketch today. P.S. Michael Keaton IS Batman. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong. Why do you think he's been taking less leading man roles in recent years? He's too busy fighting crime, and, apparently, going on dates.

I'm kind of surprised that we've covered more than one Nicolas Cage film and have yet to do a Mark Wahlberg movie. And, when we do, I'd like to nominate Andy Samberg as the guest, please. "...Say hi to your mother for me."

This episode was a pleasure to listen to. A pleasure all over my chest.

@dan s... Don't get me wrong, Dan. I enjoyed the character. I just won't be meeting him at the diner anytime soon. Not until he invests in some antacid anyway.
-
I really like that this week's challenge is going to test the writing skills of the contestants.

New diet plan: Whenever you're hungry, listen to this episode. Be nauseated by Al/Bob/Derrick! noises. Lose appetite.
