@russneversleeps... Russ, thank goodness you never sleep, because you create some pretty awesome things.

Move over, Hitchcock. Jeff is the new Master of Suspense!

Love it! Question: Will Scottrick have to pay Yoko millions in order to play this tune on the show?
-
Fans with tech skills - who among you will create a mashup trailer or film poster for Kevin Costner's post-apocalyptic baseball movie? Tagline, of course, must be: "If we rebuild it, they will come."

FOLKS! I'm going to my first NFL game ever this evening (Eagles preseason). Does anyone have an idea for a witty sign I can make for the game? I'd love to incorporate Sklarbro Country into it if I can. Unfortunately, there are no Hendersons on the roster.

@Caroline... I'm definitely going to listen to that episode of Jeff's show. Legends of the Hidden Temple is just that... a LEGEND. Plus, I want to know if they address the most frustrating element for fans of that show... watching those kids who couldn't put together the three piece statue in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey. It was only three pieces! HOW COULD YOU FAIL AT THAT?!? [attachment=4537,96]

I was already in love with my Earwolf shirts, but after hearing about the work that goes into getting them out to people, I appreciate them even more. P.S. Any listeners that haven't ordered one, but have thought about it, they are super comfortable and, let's face it, awesome looking. You should pick one up. I may be turning into Jeff, because I'm starting to wear mine a little too often. Well, at least I haven't worn one to a wedding, funeral, or gala event... yet.

Paul Scheer/Kreayshawn Fan Art vs. Zippy the Pinhead [attachment=4429,93]

I agree with the judges' decision this week. Unfortunately, the sound quality of the Television Zombies is still pretty poor, which ends up being distracting. I also think the clip they selected was confusing; they were jumping from topic to topic without giving the listeners' a chance to catch up. Best of luck to the TZs with their show!

EP. 36 "Ever was fire in your town?" - Howard asking guest Paul Scheer a question.

@Monty... I was thinking the same thing while listening. Brett Gelman's iBrain is one of my favorite CBB moments, and I think it was better executed than this. Obviously there are a lot of skits out there that have followed that format, but this wasn't the best. Scott makes it work on CBB because he gets more disgusted and sells it better.

@Steve Hensel... Your answer made me laugh, and reminded me of this...

Thanks for reading my mailroom response, ladies. I owe you one... Whiskey! Vodka! Rum! Tequila!

I'd like to also add that, although I cannot comment on Harris' song choices as I am not familiar enough with the work of Phish, he did seem to do a great job preparing for this episode. He had a tracklist ready to go with notes on which parts of the songs should be listened to, a lot of background information and Phish trivia, and was aware of Scott's musical taste enough to tailor choices to him. Either Harris was truly devoted to putting in a lot of preparation time for this one episode, diligently payed attention in his public speaking class in college, or he's already had it down because he's been a door-to-door Phish missionary for the past few years.

The Little Dum Dum Club was my favorite this week. Their conversations are laid back and fun. They don't have to force the funny, it just comes naturally.

I loved the new Second Opinions segment. I also really enjoyed hearing about the two Pauls' solitary theater experiences. Thanks for seeing what sounds like a clustersmurf of a movie so I didn't have to.
-
So I was not really familiar with Phish before listening to this episode. I think I'm in the same boat as Scott for the moment. The jury's still out on this band (for me.) P.S. Artsy fans need to attempt to make something that says: "No shirt. No shoes. No cell phone service."

The Happening - (it's never happening, but talk about it if you want)
Julia replied to temjeito's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
I don't know what you guys are talking about! This movie brought to light the dangers posed by conniving trees and/or wind that is trying to DESTROY us. Forget about Arbor Day, we need to have Slaughter Day, where we chop down as many of those wooden bastards as we can. It's HUMANS vs. TREES, people! -
Can't wait to hear what guests the contestants feature in their clips. Let's start rumors about who they might be... I heard the Bob and Dan Cast scored an interview with OPRAH!
-
I love the inevitable turning point in Hollywood Facts when guests start to get indignant toward Scott.
-
It's like 'Burlesque' with shittier costumes.

Girl: Can I ask you somethin'? Lil: What? Girl: What - Oh, what does Coyote Ugly mean? Lil: Did you ever wake up sober after a one night stand, and the person you're next to is layin' on your arm, and they're so ugly, you'd rather chew off your arm then risk waking 'em? That's coyote ugly. Girl: My God. But, why would you name your bar after somethin' like that? Lil: Oh, because Cheers was taken.

@Brendan Wait, while I was reading your comment, I think I heard something outside... was it... a plane?! ...LET'S ALL SING IT TOGETHER!!

@Dillon W... Do you remember what was discussed in the Twitter segment? Scott takes questions from Twitter for the game Would You Rather?, so Twitter appears in several episodes just for that game alone.
