Comedy Bang Bang: Trivial Pursuit Edition. THE REMATCH. Rudd vs. Hamm. http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2011/08/paul_rudd_jon_hamm_trivial_pur.html

@jughead... I'm slightly ashamed to admit that I've seen "Hard Target." I don't remember the particulars of that movie (like that photo of him biting a rattle snake??), but I will NEVER FORGET that mullet.

@Roy Padrick... Here's another! [attachment=4022,85]

@Bucho... Those are classic! You should add some to the "Best Howard quotes and questions" forum topic - http://www.earwolf.com/forums/topic.php?id=594

Osbaldiston! (The kick is around the 4 min. 30 sec. mark of the video.)

EP. 35 "What is it about him that you find has value?" -Howard asking Scott Aukerman about his love for Jason Derulo's music. ... "We don't judge Scott for his musical taste because we know that none of us are right about anything. And if that gives him joy, that's great." -Howard

Dustin, the episode sounds great! Congrats again on the new gig.

My favorite in today's challenge was The Little Dum Dum Club. It was the most original, easy to understand and funny of the segments. Totally Laime was great, though there are lots of word association or rapid fire style segments already out there. I do like the piece though, and agree with the judges that it'd be interesting to have the hosts follow up on a few of the guest's most surprising answers after the game concludes. I also think the segment ideas of answering Yahoo questions and the Mark Mark Mork game are fun (though the rules to the latter of the two could be summarized in a more simple way to understand.)

Who's going to be the first person to take Brett Gelman's iBrain and substitute the word "smurf" throughout it?

I really want Womp It Up! to be a real podcast.

I like that the episodes have featured outros recently after the closing song. I think it's a nice way to wrap up each show.

@Will Jacobson... Agreed. Haven't seen that movie, but after seeing that quote in the commercial, I mocked it for weeks.

Can't... look... away... !

I'm the "one person" that gets Caroline's Gawker/HelloGiggles comparison. (I win!) I wholeheartedly agree with her point regarding positive podcasts on Earwolf. Let's face facts folks... haters gonna hate. But I like that, for the most part, Earwolf podcasts don't do that. Which is why I appreciate that when there was an uncomfortable joke or two thus far on the contestants' submissions, the judges pointed it out. I also agree with some of the other comments regarding Matt's "emotional response" toward Brett's clip. The feedback's fine, but it probably could have been said in a shorter, more concise note. It's nice that the shows are getting a little shorter as they go on, and I'm sure that is partly because there are less contestants now. I think a 20-30 minute episode is ideal for this show. And, luckily, those minutes have been chock full of discussion, and not Ryan Seacrest-esque manipulating of people's emotions. By the by, everyone has left very interesting comments thus far in this forum. I'm really enjoying reading the exchange. It's gonna get cutthroat once we start defending our favorites!

I respectfully disagree with the comments that Jesse Thorn was a 'harsh' judge. I thought both he and Paul offered great, sincere feedback in the most delicate way possible. I appreciate that The Earwolf Challenge is clearly invested in offering positive, constructive criticism and support to the contestants, rather than turning this into a product with a sole purpose of drama, like many reality show programs seem to do. Though it is true that this week's challenge was content, I think it was just that The Television Zombies were informed of their sound quality issues. The sound quality was so poor in the clip that I found it distracting, but I think the feedback from the judges may help them alleviate that problem in the future. This was my favorite week of The Earwolf Challenge so far. I haven't tried to listen to all of the contestants' podcasts yet (that would be rather time consuming for the layman), so this challenge was the most that I've heard of each podcast. Basing an opinion on personalities and theme songs is fine, but I really got a sense of each contestant this week. I'm looking forward to next week's challenge and learning a bit more about each of the podcasts and contestants.

I really want to see the Bob Odenkirk's version of Transformers. Please.

The three strongest content submissions today were, in my opinion, Bob and Dan Cast, Totally Laime Podcast, and The Little Dum Dum Club. I thought that Paul and Jesse were great judges to have on the show. They're both experienced podcast hosts and guests, and seem to be good at providing constructive criticism. Also, if you haven't read Paul's American Idol recaps for New York Magazine's Vulture blog, which was mentioned on today's episode, you need to check it out! It is probably be the funniest TV recap writing that I've ever followed.

I love that Jackie Clarke brought the episode back to Tyler Perry films, like she did when she was on 'Who Charted?' I think you guys need to do an episode where you discuss one of his movies when you have her back on the show. I've never seen a Tyler Perry movie, but the way in which Jackie describes them makes them sound like they'd be 'How Did This Get Made?' worthy.

Episode 37 — Guided Meditation III

Murder, chinchilla overcoats, and escaping a motorcycle gang? Sounds like my weekend. -
Congratulations again on the partnership with Funny or Die! I can't wait to see what content the two sites generate together. I know so many people who follow videos on their site and would love comedy podcasts, but, for whatever reason, are still among that 80% of people who don't tune in to podcasts. As more people discover Earwolf, they'll start wondering how they ever got on without it. I'm interested to hear about the site's analytics are later this year once the partnership is in full force.

EP. 33 "Your eyes seem to be in good spirits... the doctor could screw your eyes up, but if you get your head on straight, you'll be able to see everything you need to see."
