  1. @AgentOrange They got the green light from their green lanterns.
  2. @astralweeks I agree with you regarding the Totally Laime Podcast. They did a great job in their intro of explaining the show and featuring clips of the podcast, so people know what an actual episode sounds like. Some of the other shows didn't feature podcast clips in their intros, so I could only form an initial impression based on their voices and show synopses. And, of course, the fact that Totally Laime Podcast highlighted their notable past guests is a surefire way to get attention. So far (based on the first two episodes of The Earwolf Challenge), that's the show that's interested me the most.
  3. You could fill every week of this show just covering terrible superhero films.

    Episode 113 — Skanking Hayride

Random thing I just discovered... If you search for Bobby Moyihan on Twitter, four people come up. And one of them is Oprah.

    Episode 113 — Skanking Hayride

@Sean I agree! I love that Bobby was super excited for a plane break to happen.

    Episode 7 — Vegas

'Sexy Beagle' was really funny; I hope you'll have him back on the show. I was cracking up when he said: "You make crazy faces when you sing, and this one's got syrup in her face..."

Finally, an episode for all of us listeners who support dog amputation.

Episode 102 — Behind the Music

I think you're not the only one who felt that way. Apparently that was one of the episodes that received mixed feedback. We'll have to see what Scott says about it when he does a blog post on it!
  9. I agree with suggestions for: Nick Kroll, Jon Hamm, Randy and Jason Sklar, Scott Aukerman, James Adomian, Weird Al, Patton Oswalt, Adam Scott, Eugene Mirman. I'd also love to hear Nick Swardson, Seth Morris (it'd be neat to hear more from him when he's not in character), and John Mulaney. Also, guests with musical ties, like Andy Samberg and Zooey Deschanel, would add a great dynamic to the show, plus they would bring in even more listeners.
  10. Great episode, fellas. Kudos to Patrick for representing the calming shores in the hotdog eating contest! Aisha was a great guest; hooray for funny chicks! And, I'm so happy Sam Elliot was on; he may be my favorite of all of Chris Cox's characters. Can't wait for the behind-the-scenes episode with Chris Cox next week!

@Beloved... He's spoofing the Billy Bob interview on Q TV:

    New Yorkers...

Todd, you can use the "On Tour" page on Earwolf to search for shows by city or zip code. I know Earwolf will be adding some new dates to that section very soon, as some volunteers are currently compiling them. Also, as was mentioned on some recent episodes, repeat Earwolf guest James Adomian just moved to NYC. Maybe he'll have some August gigs up there? Have fun in the Big Apple!

Episode 31 — Dragon Boy Suede and Oates

FYI: It's not possible to stream the episode on the Earwolf page. The 'Download mp3' link is working though.
  15. Hey, fellow citizens of Sklarboro Country! What do you think about starting a forum topic of the lexicon of the show? We can define recurring terms and phrases used on the show, so newbie listeners won't have too much trouble understanding the show. We can define things like "Henderson," "Punching a waterfall," and others. Thoughts? Post your definitions below!

    Episode 112 - Since You've Been Gone

Yeah! Comedy Bang Bang! 2011! Great episode! 2011! Jeremy Piven! Death to infidels! 2011!
  17. FYI: To those who were left in suspense by this episode... good news! My Sklarboro Country t-shirt came in the mail today. Engineer Frank's the man!
  18. "Heard It On the Radio" by The Bird and The Bee. Fun fact: The game 'Guess the Misheard Lyrics' debuted in Ep. 88.
  19. Shame on Sheila Lasagna, Mama Mia Papa Pia and the other ladies who have rejected Bob's love. I'm sure we can find a life companion for you, Bob. Have you thought about tracking down a woman by the name of Florence Nightingale? I think she'd be perfect for you.

Episode 49 — The Sprint Panda

Hole. Lee. Sh*t. The freestyle opening, Sklarbitration theme, and 'Sklarbro Freestyle' finale were amazing. Can Ugly Duckling be the house band, please? I always love Randy and Jason's musical choices, but this episode took things to a new level of awesomeness. This was a fun episode to listen to. P.S. I'll have to re-listen to the Phanatic discussion and email you; I have a lot to say about my favorite sports mascot of all time!

Episode 111 — Hi, How Are You?

David was a great co-host. His reactions to Harris' Foam Corner were classic. And now, thanks to David and Brett, we finally know why Scott created Earwolf! P.S. Harris, I voted for Foam Corner. But I still want to hear more Jack. I bet there's more to that lumberjack than anyone expects. Well... probably not.

    would you rather song

It is "Opening Fare" from the Stephen Sondheim musical "The Frogs." Here's a YouTube video with the music:
  23. @steve... You have an interesting point. I hadn't really thought about it that much, but I've realized that as I've been listening to more comedy podcasts, I've been watching less television. I think I was disappointed by some current TV series (I'm not hating on all TV, but I've found less shows that interest me enough to follow them regularly), so I've turned to podcasts to fill that void for entertainment. I agree that podcasts will never trump television and film, but I do think they can perform well in their own right. Jeff is very modest, and has a critical eye, which is a great quality to have in a CEO, but I hope he truly sees the huge progress that Earwolf has made since its inception. Earwolf is going to continue to make great strides as it brings new listeners and more advertisers on board. And I concur that video integration would be a wonderful tool to use on the site, as the resources become available. I already enjoy the video introductions that the shows have on the new website. P.S. I'm glad you liked the episode!
  24. Thanks again to Jeff for asking me to be a guest on this episode; I'm thrilled to have been a part of one of my favorite shows. It was great to chat with fellow super fans Dustin and Mike.
