Check out all of the photos on the Sklarbro Country Facebook page! This was THE BEST day at Earwolf. I love this episode! And I agree with Dan's comment above... how do we get more Richard Simmons on the show? I'm pretty sure a double guest episode of like Richard Simmons + Patton Oswalt would make the calming shores flood with awesomeness.

Alicia Silverstone killed Alicia Silverstone's career.

I love the defending of Steve's character... "He fixed the hot dog joke!"

I love this movie. LOVE!

We love you, Tig!

I don't know how or why, but I have this monstrosity on VHS.

It's Jill Talley.

Caroline's great, and she fixed it! I was not told by Caroline directly that I had to both credit her diligence and call her "great."

Hey, folks! If you enjoyed the listener-submitted stories that prompted some awesome scenes, don't forget Matt Besser wants another batch of 'em! What's your WORST summer memory? Drunk grandparents at a family bbq? Jellyfish attack? Paying $10 to see Batman & Robin in theaters? Record a 30 second to two minute audio file and email it to fanmail@earwolf.com with the subject line "I4H Worst Summer Story." Can't wait to hear what crazy things Matt and the guests get from YOUR stories!
-
I don't know what it was about this line specifically, but I couldn't stop laughing when Matt said: "Goddamn this small Pennsylvania town!"
-
I'd like to think that Howard manages to connect all of his personal stories to Fiona Apple's career milestones.

That final fan letter on Kulap's chart really touched me. You're in our thoughts, Bethony! Sending positive summah vibes your way!

I really enjoyed the first season of Veep! Matt Walsh was hilarious on that show.

The man. The myth. The "intern"... -
Mine is Bittah Genius!

Ok, so we all looked up TallBrian's OkCupid profile after listening to this, right?

Indeed! Here are the details... We want to know what the best thing is that has ever happened to you on summer vacation. Send us an audio file that is 30 seconds to two minutes in length. You can email the audio file to fanmail@earwolf.com. Please use the subject line "Improv4humans Summer Story." The due date is Friday, July 6. Sending your submission means you agree to have your story possibly inspire absurd comedy on improv4humans. Good luck!

This was a fun episode! You really tapped into my fears of what speed dating must be like! I have to tell you though, Matt... Sean Conroy's a fabulous improvisor, and I'm sure a good man, but he's steering you wrong on those Adidas sneakers. New Balance is where you're going to get the best arch support. Adidas may be cute for a cross-trainer if you're puttering around town, but New Balance provides superior stability for people with low arches. My dad keeps back-up pairs of New Balance sneakers in his closet. That attests to both the quality of the shoe and the eccentricity of my father.

I like to pretend Matt Stairs is still on the Phillies so I can wear this kickass sweatshirt.
