So why have the date some shows get released moved around?

Ah thanks, I misunderstood it as being a permanent thing, silly me. -

I'm just curious. Is there some weird statistical anomaly that shows people don't usually download podcasts on a Thursday? Or is it just some boring technical or scheduling reason why it's more difficult to do it then. -
I understand why they have to be the quality they are, but I'd still hope it would be possible to put out some higher quality versions of the songs. I'd love to be able to get 128kps versions of the songs Yo La Tengo performed. I assume there might be some rights issues with that though, but maybe some of the artists would want to put them out on their own sites.

Forget Matt Besser's new show, we need to give Howard and Kyle their own improv podcast!

Quite unusual to hear Andy Daly play a character that isn't suicidal and isn't kidnapping/abusing/torturing people. Then again I'm English, I never learnt much about FDR.
-
@Brian Did anyone say they demanded some kind of compensation? - I like the songs so I'm not complaining, but I'm also fine with people posting on the forums to say they don't like them. (as long as they're not just saying things to be a dick, which I don't think anybody was) It's more interesting to read than people bringing out that "you can't complain because it's free" argument that Jeff Ulrich himself has said he disagrees with. - *edit* Robin posted something similar while I was writing this, but I'll leave this here anyway.

That's kind of the whole point Johnny. Daly's has these arcs he goes through for his the characters, so it was funny that they kept telling him to shut up so aggressively as it as it subverts the show's usual formula. Also since Daly is such a good improviser it means he can cope with being railroaded. That's kind of why he's so good.

Congratulations on your appearance 'over the line' Caroline.

You really spoil us Earwolf, giving us all these treats every week.

I loved how awkwardly they 'found the game' in this episode, it seemed like there were a couple of minutes where nobody was quite sure what to say'yes and' to and run with. And Jenny's (Jerry's) desperate attempt to quickly think of what happened on the mountain was great.

Maria Bamford is just delightful. I'd love her to do some character work on CBB.

Thanks guys, really fun episode and it really helped me on a tiring and stressful day.
-
Really great episode, glad to see you guys doing something a little different with the format. There were so many high points in the episode, but since Gelaman and Daly are going to get most of the praise, I have to mention how much I loved Neil Campbell's story.

I'm betting Kulap's adam & eve ad will be more effective than Marc Maron's.

I've not listened to the episode yet but regarding the Amazon link, a lot of sites have these already. The admin of a forum I post on has asked people to buy from amazon using the affiliate link to help maintain that site. _ It is probably worth pushing it harder to explain to people how they can help earwolf by going to amazon through it, but it's worth bearing in mind that there's going to be a lot of other sites competing with over this. A lot of these are just going to be things like independent forums that aren't actual businesses. So personally, I prefer to donate occasionally and buy things from the store, but the amazon links I won't use because I'm using the affiliate links for other sites to help them out.

What is it with Earwolf podcasts and Vegetarian robots?
-
Well yes, I do.

That truly was a chilling performance from Scott Aukerman

Well uh obviously he doesn't have a great vocal range, but surely it's obvious why he might decide to play a character rather than being himself. - Just to be clear I thought he was funny on this, and find it funny how he just does the same voice every time.
-
How does Paul Scheer keep coming up with so many different voices?!

Interesting episode, Jeff I do enjoy these more personal episodes of The Wolf Den, so you shouldn't be afraid to do them. - Just to throw out an idea for a potential pledge drive, maybe if you did some kind of bonus best of episodes for all your shows then that might be an appropriate time to pledge for money. Maybe even a podcast for the best of all of earwolf's shows - If you did that maybe someone who only listens to Comedy Bang Bang for example might be persuaded to listen to Who Charted or your show if they heard a clip they liked. - Also pledge drives and telethons are often a good area for (I'm particularly thinking of a certain Mr Show sketch) So maybe if you worked with the hosts to come up with a funny conceit for the pledge drive podcast, you could find a way to ask for money in a way that's entertaining and doesn't feel like an advert. - Whatever you do, I've donated and before and I'll be happy to drop a few more dollars your way if you did do a pledge drive.

I listened to this for the 4th time today, still burst out laughing in public at "do you eat a dick every time someone has sex with your butt?"

Nick Kroll is already part of the elite crew, has been for a while.
-
That swimming pool photo would be funny enough, but to add to it, you have Brett Gelman smiling in the background which it takes it to a whole other level. Seems like it's been ages since Nick Kroll was on the show, great to have him back as he's definitely one of the best recurring guests.

If Harris made a long list of bands he hates, he could show it to Scott and see if there's any on there he likes, and if there is one do a podcast about that.
