Episode 61 — Pauly Shore, Our Close Friend
93The_ace replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
This is, without a doubt, the scariest episode of any podcast I have ever heard. -
Episode 55 — Lauren Lapkus, Our Close Friend

Well, this place sure seems like fun and something that I'd like to be a part of. I'm much like some of the other people on this forum because I haven't been very active, but now here I am. And isn't that a good thing. -
I'll jump in here and just say this: I really had a fondness for Dane Cook when I was growing up. I saw his Vicious Circle special on CC when it came out and I would quote with friends at school. I was in 6th grade, and you know, since then my comedy preferences have changed and I enjoy different stuff now. Dane Cook hasn't really been on my radar for over nearly 10 years now, but I certainly think he's a pretty funny guy even if I don't really connect with his stand up anymore. Great ep! Solid C

The only thing I have to say after listening to this is "The Line"

May I just say that my reaction to this joke was doing a bunch of fist pumps in a row. This joke made me do that.

Am I a bad person for thinking that Ian and Jerrod Carmichael sound almost exactly the same? Not that it's a bad thing! I like them both. Technicality no down boo over!

Episode 5 — Achtung Baby?

The moment about 5 minutes in where Scott (Aukerman) says the title of the show and then goes on to explain the title and what it means pretty much epitomizes this show and what is so fantastic about. -
This episode was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was really on today. And Ben Schwartz just warms my heart. What a way to start the year!

If Brendon Small could become a regular that would be great, thanks.

This episode was hysterical. I was in hysterics. Shelly Driftwood tells the best stories, and Hot Saucerman and Oberholts are the best straight men.
-
I feel bad that I hadn't listened to this already.

Threep-a-threep threep-a-threep threep-a-threep threep threep threep!

In this episode, Jon Daly made me laugh harder than I have in a quite a while. It may have help hearing everyone else in the room cracking up too.

Werner Herzog's John Grisham's The Pancake Man Starring Werner Herzog as said Pancake Man and one of the Flapjacks: The Pancake Man
-
I can't explain why, but the moment that made me laugh the most in this episode was when the spectral projection of Christopher Hitchens meets The Guy Who Doesn't Sound Like Shaggy and immediately asks him if he'd like to "participate in a debate"

I didn't feel the same way a lot of people felt about this episode, it seems. I did notice that towards the end of the show Adam was kind of going in and out of his Bro character, but I didn't mind, really. It seemed like they were just bro-ing out, if I may use such a term. Though, I will agree with the person who said Adam and Andy sound alike because sometimes I honestly couldn't tell who was talking! Anyway, great ep, bros.

Great read of the catchphrase this week, guys. Also, I hope Chief Queef(sp?) will make a return at some point.
-
This is great! I'm very excited for the return of How the Bread Is Made. I do hope Scottabot will have the time to write those a little more frequently now that he's done shooting the CBB show. And while I'm here I should say: Thanks Earwolf! You're the best!
-
OH! The plugs bag sound effect! This was a great episode guys, maybe even my favorite from this year.
-
That's amazing.

I love what Besser has done with the podcasts he's hosted. That is to say the Earwolf Challenge and now this one. The way he interacts with Engineer Dustin at the end of the show here, or the way he would incorporate Frank into the old show. Also, that t-shirt model contest sounds like a pretty cool idea. I hope you guys are actually able to do that. I think Improv4humans has been an excellent addition to the Earwolf network.

I was so glad to hear Paul F Tompkins to sing his little "That's also true." tune. For whatever reason since the he first sang it - I can't remember where he sang it - I've always thought of it whenever I hear some one say, "That's also true."
-
Well, I've decided that I'm in love with Paul F Tompkins.

Oh, leducviolet. The person with the mustache in the pictures is in fact Paul F Tompkins.
