Just want to express that I would definitely purchase an Earwolf hoodie if more are made!

I'm unable to get Totally Laime or How Did This Get Made to play. Thanks for fixing, Caroline, and I am also a fan of your twitter!

gasped aloud when i saw this - i've been waiting and hoping for abbi and ilana to turn up on an earwolf show. hope this isn't their last!

Who do YOU want to be a guest on WHO CHARTED??
snarla replied to Kulap's topic in Guest Recommendations
Chelsea Peretti, Esther Povitsky (Little Esther), Aubrey Plaza, Alison Brie, Amy Poehler -
I started feeling actual nervous feelings leading up to the new chart themes. Just heard the music chart theme and I have the biggest shit-eating grin on my face. This show makes me so happy.

Episode 27 — Twilight Breaking Dawn Pt 1
snarla replied to admin's topic in How Did This Get Made?
The trope of characters turning to Google for vampire info is a good one - Bella does this in the first movie, as I recall, and there are lots of dramatic closeups on Wikipedia pages and like Geocities websites. A character also does this on an episode The Vampire Diaries, but they use Bing because I'm pretty sure the CW has a deal with them. -
Happy anniversary, Who Charted! The first episode I listened to was Sarah Silverman's first appearance, when I was listening to every episode of Earwolf shows she'd appeared on, and I've been hooked ever since. The Kulap/Sarah friendship is one of my favorite things in the world. The two of them singing Rilo Kiley together was extremely adorable.

I listened to this episode while trying to bake a vegan pumpkin cheesecake. The hilariousness dulled the pain of the cheesecake flopping BIGTIME. Clapped my hands in glee at the news of Kulap being the next guest on Totally Laime - looking forward to it!
-
Also, you should try to get Carrie Brownstein to guest on Who Charted? Too much success.
-
Enjoyed Kulap's subtle correction of Howard's pronunciation of Sleater-Kinney

Just want to mention how much I love the Second Opinion segments - great addition.

Wonderful episode! Made my morning to see that Amy is the guest.

@Bucho, I see your point, but the sketch didn't read to me as a comment on comedy convention - rather as a joke about this guy's passion project robot taking so long to come to fruition that his friend doesn't appreciate it once it's done. Just seems like a stretch to call a reference to a five-year-old movie and its quoters "postmodern," and I certainly don't think that should count against them in judging, which I'm afraid it might.

PS - I think it's totally unfair to say that LHR's Borat reference was the same attempt at criticizing poorly-done comedy that, say, Hamm Radio attempted with the "hack stand-up" bit early on in the Challenge. There was NOTHING "post-modern" or "meta" about LHR's sketch. The joke was that it took the guy five years to build the robot, so by the time he was finished the Borat joke was no longer relevant. For god's sake look up those terms if you're going to use them so often and regard them so disdainfully.
