Someone from Laughspin might make for an interesting interview, as well.

Haha, I was passively listening to this episode while filling out job apps when David said he was co-directing a movie with Paul Thomas Anderson and it did indeed wake me up. Good call, Howard!

i've noticed this, as well, and i assumed it just had something to do with earwolf's specific feed.
-
i give prof. blastoff credit for making their commercial breaks creative and funny instead of it just being a reference to the earwolf site or something (not that i mind those, or anything)

great episode. i'm really loving this podcast. you guys are consistently funny and make me think. i'm fascinating by all of these topics, and it's nice hearing them discussed in a way that isn't dry or boring and instead fascinating and insightful.

Marc Maron is playing Chicago in a few weeks...I've had tickets for over a month now. I'm so exicted! Is anyone else going?
-
the jens songs were so fucking great! i love it when musicians stop by earwolf shows (the ted leo, aimee mann, jon wurster ep of CDR may be my favorite).
-
good idea, stefan. if they can't get a second series off the ground (it had something to do with rob heubel's schedule, right?), just turn the first series into a video podcast with animation. i would love that.

i rarely go to the theater to see shitty movies, as most people i know have decent taste in film and i usually have a good sense of what i'll enjoy, anyways. but my family happened to drag me to this when we had nothing else to do or see, and it is absolutely appalling. i would love to hear it covered on the podcast!
-
ohh man, good suggestion! i would LOVE to see one of these covered.

it seems like the "friends of tom" from WFMU's the best show seem to put together meet-ups now and then. i'm sure earwolf fans will eventually be doing the same. (p.s. i'm in chicago)

when new episodes stopped popping up, i thought maybe it had turned into a weekly show, which i thought wasn't a bad idea. but that would make it trickier for doug benson to give away free stuff...
