    Episode 8 - Evolution

Hey T&K&D, Thanks for another good one-the shows get better and better, and Dr. Cohen was great-you all touched on so many topics that this could easily have been a two-parter, I think. I laughed a lot while listening to this show, and the idea about evolution moving in any directions (not just refinement or increasing sophistication) was fascinating, too.

    Episode 7 — Deja Vu

Hey T&K&D, Thanks again for a fun show. I'm a fellow sufferer of BDVS (Boring Deja Vu Syndrome), and I salute your courage. I've talked to other people about deja vu experiences and they've also had the boring kind-the sensation itself is fascinating, even if the circumstances being re-experienced are mundane. I thought I had a premonition once, but it was confusing since it happened after a bad bicycle accident which gave me a concussion, so I'm inclined to discount it as a byproduct of the injury. Still, very weird, and had that "I knew that guy was gonna say that!" feeling 2-3 times in a row.

    Episode 5 — Sweet Dreams

Hey Professors-OK-this is getting weird-Not only did I hang out with friends this past weekend talking about lucid dreaming, falling dreams, and recurring dreams, I was asked to do a Yoko Ono impression. Which I did. If I find out that there was brisket being eaten in the Professor's laboratory, I'm just gonna have to assume a parallel-universe type arrangement between Texas and the laboratory. And I am totally not making this up, but I have had the weird-fish dream, too. According to Carl Jung, water is a universal symbol of the subconscious, so perhaps David's dream was about accessing some painful or ugly part of the unconscious mind in a safe setting in preparation for integrating it into his waking consciousness? That's what I'm leaning towards for myself, anyway, but I actually like to fish, asleep or awake. Thanks again for a cool show!
