  1. I've only seen Ernest Scared Stupid, but it was my favorite movie for a while when I was a kid.

When Ernest unknowingly and accidentally hits a troll with a car door right as it's about to attack him, I almost died laughing, and I can't really explain why.

Maybe because the movie was actually scary (at that age), so the humor broke some real tension.

    Dave: I think it's lower than that, I think it's 5....5 feet.

Jimmy: No way, that's a tiny little guy. That would be an embarrassment to this country.

Just to back dlo burns on this point. I don't think white teachers let being labelled a "racist" stop them from bringing the hammer on minority children.

I've noticed a pattern in your posts and I had to ask: you don't think very highly of white people as a group do you?

It's almost like you have a prejudiced view of white people based solely on their race........

That would be awful if it were true. I don't know if you are aware of this, but racism is a really terrible, abbhorrent and evil thing.

  4. Your friend that thought something was holding her down when she woke up was probably experiencing a condition called sleep paralysis. You can check it out on wikipedia. It's caused by the fact that your body is basically paralyzed during deep sleep, and sometimes you can wake up before your body becomes unparalyzed.

I've had it happen to me before, and it was very very scary. I didn't jump to the conclusion that it was a ghost, but it was scary nonetheless. :D

David's counterpoint was well fought but a little over matched. I suggest you find an atmospheric scientist and bring her on the show to set the record straight.

What are you talking about? David was basically on Steven's side.

Kyle was the only person close to challenging Steven's opinions, but that was undercut by his Al Gay-ore Inconvenient Truth performance(which was the highlight of the episode, for me)

Steven is probably my favorite Professor Blastoff guest, but this episode was sorta confusing and muddled.

  6. I thought he was fun. Any guest who buys in and goes for it is good with me. I love the people who listen to a few comedy podcasts and become expert critics.

I have to assume you're as obnoxious as this guest was, so that's why nothing seems out of the ordinary to you.
