"What's Nuts?" has instantly become my favorite part of the show. Really there should just be more T+K+D saying things in unison in general.
-
David, you need to stop equating "I don't understand this" to "Humanity doesn't understand this and therefore God did it." The explanation the scientist gave for how water formed makes sense, you just need to have an understanding of chemistry for it to make sense to you. It's the equivalent of saying, "I don't understand what that person speaking Japanese is saying, therefore they are speaking gibberish." ` Anyways, hilarious episode as always T+K+D. There's something special about the episodes with experts as guests, I think it's the yin yang between the informed noncomedian and three uninformed comedians, it creates an Abbot and Costello kind of back and forth that ends up being hilarious and silly as well as informative. I don't know of many podcasts that can manage to do both like that, except maybe Neil DeGrasse Tyson's podcast. By the way, you guys NEED to get NDT on the podcast, he can tell you "What's Nuts?" about the universe.

Episode 7 — Battleship Strap-On

3/4ths of UCB all in the same room, doing improv? To quote Vonnegut, if this isn't nice, I don't know what is. -
"Empire Strikes Back is the Rosetta Stone of your language, of the beep boop language!" is definitely Scottabot's quote of the year or QOTY for me. The way he delivers it so emphatically gets me every time. Also, Huell Howser becomes Dr. Manhattan with Jesse Ventura as his Quado is my favorite bit of the year. "Were that the chimes at midnight?"

I'd forgotten how good the Andy Samberg/Bro episode was. Would love to see Bro make a return appearance in 2012, or just more Adam Pally in general, the man is a genius.

Yeah it was Jon Daly. And it was kinda hard to tell but did he go into Bill Cosby Bukowski on a whim after his Grammer started sounding a bit Cosbyesque? That was the impression I got, which is awesome because BCB is one of my all time favorite characters done on CBB, and it allowed PFT to try his hand at Grammer, which was also great.

That ending drop of the foam corner theme was PERFECT. Y'all need to start putting out video of the episodes, I'd definitely pay money to see video of this episode.

This episode clearly should've been called Excalibur4Perverts.

djwetmouse, the whole thing has to rhyme, not just the last syllable, unless you are woofin' a woof woof, of course.

"False Chart! Bingo, Found It! Boom!" "I haven't even gotten in to yoga yet!" "Please hump this guy." Howard singing bass. "I sleep with it." "Why'd you write him then?" "Cuz I'm a good guy." Breaking Don This is seriously the greatest thing ever. Brody more than earned his 4th appearance.

Loved this one. Big fan of chiptunes. -
The Bakin' a Plain Cake Plane Break brought a tear to my eye. I'd like to nominate this episode as a late candidate for best of 2011. PFT is on some next level shit. Would really love to read a How The Bread Is Made on this episode and how the whole A Cakesmas Carol section came together.

Episode 5 — Wistfulness & Kevin

There's always one bit that really shows off just how good the comedians on this show are at improv, this week it was the pregnant daughter bit. The way the ham on the bagel kept coming back, especially at the end, and the way all the phrases like "juiced up" kept recurring, it was a thing of beauty. Please have Sean Conroy on every episode, not only is he hilarious in his own right, but his sensibility really complements Matt Besser's, they always seem to be on the same page. When the two of them take control of a bit, it always goes to some absurdly brilliant place. -
"Something is being enjoyed..." Gotta love Howard's obliviousness to the fact that others can't jump inside his head and follow his train of thought along with him. Same thing happens to me all the time.

Episode 4 — Desert Vacation

This show is so great. Andy Daly should be on every week and the Multiple Referee needs to make an appearance on CBB. Also please have Eddie Pepitone on, also Todd Glass, and Howard Kremer... Well there's a lot of people I'd like to see on this show. -
oh my god... he said it. i dont even

Patton is the greatest. I think it's pretty much implied at this point, but please have him back as often as possible. Loved how he talked about becoming intrigued by the world of sports and it's superheroes and villains through SBC as that is exactly what happened to me. And I could listen to Patton talk about comedy for hours. So great.

Adomian in the Earwolf studios?? I hope this means what I think it means!

"Oh I understand. No wait I don't understand." Amazing. Just amazing. This is like experiencing Christmas for the first time while also learning that Christmas will be happening weekly from now on.

My question is a repeat of my last question: Is there an mp3 of that rap? It's so damn catchy, and I want to post in to my Facebook, the Like-potential is staggering.

Is there an mp3 of that rap? I'd pay money to have that song in my library, make it happen Gelman!

This is the greatest thing I've ever heard.

Great episode! I loved hearing Tim Heidecker just being himself, I think every other podcast I've heard him on he's always been doing a bit, so it was cool to see a little bit behind the curtain, especially the Heidecker & Wood stuff, since I wasn't sure how sincere it was supposed to be.

I totally had the idea to make a dubstep song out of this episode before H&K even brought it up, I'm gonna try to do it. Very interested in the 12.5 cups contest as well. Awesome episode, Todd Barry is hilarious, I think his realization that the chart game was about him was my favorite yet, this is why you shouldn't tell the guests ahead of time, it's always funny to hear them figure it out and be confused by Howard's weirdly worded clues.
