Brilliant. The best characters on CBB use "less is more" philosophy; Jessica and Lennon brought so much depth and silliness. Maybe it will get me into trouble for saying this, but: more like this and less PFT. (I'm getting some serious PFT fatigue.)

I've made this demand before, and I will make it again: Adomian needs his own show somewhere, somehow.

There has been a Shenanigans bar in Eau Claire, WI (home of Bon Iver) for years.

I was worried that Wain's father and son would be a possible distraction, but that was definitely not the case. Adomian really rolled with it when Henry made a few distractions, and hearing Wain's father laugh at the material was great.
Â
Also, it was great to have a classic character like Busey back -- what a pleasant surprise that Gov. Ventura and Huel Howser are part of the Enigma Force.
-
All I can say is: thank god for Adomian. Tim and Eric are insufferable. The deadpan arrogance is a desperate -- and unoriginal -- attempt to be avant garde.
Â
Also, as much as I love Adomian more subtle characters, I like his brash characters like Dov Charney and Dr Bronner. I would have fallen asleep half-way through this podcast if it wasn't for the excitement he brought.

Holy crap Gelman can rap!

I enjoyed this episode, but after a while it just seemed like a classroom guinea pig that has lived too long.

Bret Gelman's show better be for real. Even if it's a few minutes of storytime.
Also, I don't care what bits Harris does as long as we get to hear a Reggie Watts theme.

Crank Three: Chev in Grouchland. Chev finds that his heart has been replaced by a Tickle-Me-Elmo and must tickle himself to stay alive.

In my opinion, James Adomian is currently the greatest comedian to not have his own show.

Bobcat is a great story teller. He really shows a lot of dept and experience in interviews (like on WTF), but here he also handles the improvised back and forth with the regulars with expertise.

On the other hand, could PFT take a break and come back when he has a new character?
