  1. Matt's interaction with Eric in this episode was really funny. I love it when Matt is annoyed, and like someone already commented, it's refreshing to see improv geniuses interacting with someone who really couldn't care less about them. Matt, your podcast is a real delight, it's extremely funny and you're a perfect host and anchor for all of the improv. I eagerly await it every Thursday.

    Episode 137.5 β€” Best of 2011 Pt 2

I nailed it in my predictions (see Part 1 thread), so I'm extra glad about the number nose and one rankings. I listened to those episodes 2-3 times each and still listened to 'em again in the countdown and laughed my ass off. I love that Andy Daly also got the number 3 spot, he deserved it. Am I the only one who kept thinking that Scottabot and PFT should host an awards show after these countdown episodes? That chemistry is like the Anti-Hatthway-Franco. Thank you Scott and guests for a fantastic year. Cheers.

    Episode 137 β€” Best of 2011 Pt 1

You sang Jitterbug during episode 103 (the 2-year anniversary), "These Times They Are A-Changin’". I hear it has a good middle-8 break.

    Episode 137 β€” Best of 2011 Pt 1

Great choices. Hooray for the listeners. I hope Don Demillo makes another appearance in the countdown (the Patton Oswalt episode), maybe in the "nose" position, and that Farts & Procreation is number 1. Bonus predictions: Amy Pohler rap, "a worty, uh", and "Droppin' Wallets".

    Live from Bumbershoot 2011 Discussion

I just finished listening to all three. Magnificent. The way the last show wrapped up, with Don Demillo managing to insert the suicide wish in the last second, the Andy Daly regular, and Cake Boss asking the shape of his brain, reminded me of the best kind of Seinfeld/Curb episode, where the different storylines climax at the same time. Seeing as how this was improv and not scripted, the achievement is even more impressing, and shows the brilliant minds of PFT and Daly. These sort of magical moments are why I love CBB.

Episode 120 β€” Farts and Procreation

Definitely my favorite non-Andy Daly episode of the podcast. It had me in hysterics for the longest time, especially during the disco bit and the incest bit. My stomach literally hurts from laughing so much. You should record at night and/or while high more often.

Episode 119 β€” Andi Callahan, RN

"Suicide by Tony" is a great name band.

I lost it at "Jesus is the Devil".

    Episode 118 β€” Hologram Toes

I love it when Patton and Scott develop these psychological origins for the character. It was hilarious in episode 99 with Don Demillo and the whore-house he grew up in, and it was hilarious here when they found the roof connection. Fantastic stuff. Patton is a great guest and Pepitone was a great improviser.
  15. Fellow CBB/CDRR fans, I need your help. I remember listening in one of the early episodes (1-70) to this great freestyle song that a character did. I think the performer was one of the regulars, like (but probably not) Paul F. Tompkins, but I just can't remember exactly what the bit was and when was it. Does any super-fan know what I'm talking about?
