By the way, Chris Cox fans- he makes an appearance on the Doug Loves Movies 'Tournament of Championships vol. 2 (with Scott Aukerman, Paul F. Tompkins & Sam Levine) as "Fake Edgar Wright". This one's a $2 episode that's in all 2 hours long and one of the better DLMs I've heard lately... (just fyi!).

@Sam, I'm somehow thinking us EW girls aren't quite the feminine hygiene product discussion types, I mean if I had to guess....

I wear my Sklarbro Country T in hopes of getting asked about it....no such luck yet...holding out for their show in Nash though...the Wolf Dead T is the next purchase to be made though. =)

Thinking about it, I'm pretty sure if you rock 'the wolf dead' shirt, you could probably catch some looks, given the design. I mean, my Nerdist shirt...yeah...I get compliments on it and people don't even know what it stands for.

Man I'd drop an extra $10 on some ironic bedazzling (but only with the irony attached....).

It was pretty cool getting a peek behind the theoretical curtain this week...really appreciate that access. Congrats on almost a whole year, fellas! I've been enjoying my stay in the condo by the calming shores, waiting for my box of ponytails to arrive.

I appreciate the fact that Jeff did this ep- Shahruz, too! I appreciated the little pep talk thrown in there about doing one thing a day to get to where you want to be- I take that kind of advice to heart and hope to hear more stuff like that sprinkled throughout the Wolf Den.

I have a feeling that it'll liven up next week, once the actual competition starts. I'm still so intrigued by the 'reality show' concept for the show & how it's connecting so many folks from the podcasting arena, from all over.

Really digging the show and am looking forward to more great shows to listen to (this one and some of the contestants shows!).

I'm not even half way into this week but man....the brothers are ON this week. Between Pat Bertoletti (whom I did watch but totally didn't connect the headband and the country....how silly am I?), the cute engagement story (Nashville show, what!?!?) and all the other greatness..oh man. Love love love what you guys are putting out.

Wolf Den + Nerdist + discussion about 'new media' = this girl is very very happy. @robstraws- on the tv show tip, I'm not sure it's going to blow up like the actual podcasts are about to do...I don't know, it just seems to me that the tv show thing hit 'mainstream', then the actual podcasts may be almost "done", know what I mean? Kinda like the tv show thing would be stretching it out way too thin eventually. Eh, that's just my 2 cents...* *that being said, I'm in no way hating on the Nerdist tv show- I'm really stoked for it. I just am thinking the whole genre podcasts of it all won't necessarily translate to tv.

September is bringing the Sklars & Marc Maron to Zanies in Nashville....I don't have a fancy phone to get on some app for this (if it's out, I just know it's been talked about), but alas...anyone from around there? And maybe if so each city could get its own thread or something? Like how this brainstorming is going on. =)

"the calming shores" = location of calmness in the Country of Sklar "ZOOM!"= pretty much the same idea as "Folks!", as previously described by @switcheroou "quick hits" = short stories, kinda rediculous usually, funny puchline that is normally followed with ZOOM! I've forgotten exactly where the punch a waterfall thing came from..someone help me out? I'm too lazy to go back and relisten. =)

One word to describe this ep: Winning. the freestyle Sklaritos..man. Good stuff; should work that into more shows in the future.

I loved getting to hear this ep and realize the 'other side' is out there and a community exists...and I'm ready to make friends!
