Seriously, everyone, go watch Darkplace. Let me get you started:

Someone needs to change the locks at the Earwolf Studios, and make sure no one gets a copy of the new keys until they sign a contract promising never to let Chris Gore in the building again.

As a heterosexual male, I am entirely comfortable telling the world that Eric the Paid Intern is a gorgeous man, and his segments were always a fun time. Good improv is not dependent on the jumping off point, but having something silly and fun like the man on the street interviews does add to the enjoyment.

Eric brought a slightly different vibe to this episode, but it was still fun and fresh. Howard and Kulap were into it, and everyone clearly enjoyed themselves. Positive energy!

CRJ got "Call Me Maybe" because she wrote it! And good for her. I respect artists who write their own stuff so much more than singers who don't do anything but show up at the studio and belt out whatever the producer has waiting for them.

Second the "top 5 from a different year" suggestion. And not just for songs. Movie chart from 1982! How much fun would that be? A lot of fun, that's how much!

My memory, plus statistics (also known as Box Office Mojo), absolutely confirm what Howard says. A quick rip through the month of February, 1982, shows a total of five movies were released in that month. In the first two weeks of February, 2012, there were seven movies that opened in over 1,000 theaters. No doubt there are way more movies opening wide every week now than there were 20 years ago. Score one for the Wie-Wie!

How great that two newcomers just totally "got it" and brought the funny? I already loved Jenny (Jerry (Tampa Platt)) Slate and Earwolf Challenge Winner Elizabeth Laime, and now I love them even more. Moynihan was super awesome also as well.
