Episode 40 โ€” All About Lee

The first time I listened to Comedy Death Ray I thought Little Gary was real. That being said, I'm curious if the people who were fooled are people who don't listen to Comedy Bang Bang, and aren't used to characters on a podcast, or if Lee fooled CBB fans as well.

Episode 40 โ€” All About Lee

Move over Paul F. Tompkins and Andy Richter! Howard and Kulap know: Give the people what they want, and what the people want can only be... Lee. Special props to Kulap for putting up with being called Tulip, a sweat shop worker, and being eye raped in the photos.

    Machete

This has got to be on the same level as Crank 2. I know you guys said Crank 2 may have been too good and Machete is probably a little better than C2, but damn if it isn't over the top ridiculous. The opening scene and Steven Segal's death scene are enough to carry a podcast. I would love to hear Paul and the gang break it down. Somewhat unrelated, but I watched about 5 minutes of Burlesque the other day and concluded there's no way a 45 minute podcast could do full justice to that movie. I recommend extending the podcast a little when the movie is Burlesque bad.

    Favorite Characters?

I agree with both of you. Early Huell Howser is what got me hooked to CDR, but he's been different ever since he fell under the influence of Jesse Ventura. The two part Andy Richter/Cakeboss episode (106) is probably my favorite CDR/CBB ever. Funny story my name used to be just Bob until I was bit by a cakebug. I love all PFT characters, maybe with the exception of Mr. Brainwash. I think Brett Gelman should count as a character, so I'll throw him in.

    Episode 121 โ€” Bro-ing Out

If there's not going to be any characters, it helps to have someone like Pardo on. Nice Job. KajusX: I heard that on Doug Loves Movies too, hopefully they'll be up soon. I can't wait.

Episode 94 โ€” Dip Didda Dip Dow!

Great episode. I relistened a few days ago and have been 'dip dadda dip dow'ing ever since. Hot Dog should get a reprise, maybe he started a Sha Na Na cover band?

What guest do you want to see?

Joe Rogan would make a great straight man for an episode. A Rogan, Huell Howser, and Jesse โ€™The Mindโ€™ Ventura ep would be an instant classic. Also, itโ€™s been a while since Doug Benson has been on the show. And, as always, more Paul F. Tompkins and Cakeboss. CAKEBOSS!!!

  14. re: Porn of women getting pregnant. I think people would love to have a souvenir from the night their child was conceived. Here's what I would do: First, get Ice-T involved. Second, start a company that films couples making love, real classy so they can show it to their kids one day. Third, call the company: Ice-T, Coitus, and Your Kids. Fourth, watch the money roll in. - re: Poll to bring Harris back. I vote to bring him back. What I love about CBB is the characters, the dumber the better, and Harris is a master of that.

    Andy Daly marathon

@ josh reese Or you could tie yourself to the Hollywood sign, with about 80 feet of rope, and light yourself on fire.

Episode 38 โ€” The Return of Suit McGoo

PFT is a podcasting God! I think Howard's brother should pay a visit to Comedy Bang Bang.

    Episode 1 โ€” Analyze Phish

It's been awhile since I listened to Phish and it seemed like every jam Harris played sounded like the generic jam band music from the hippie episode of South Park. One more episode and Scott will triumph, and all that Harris will be able to do is succumb to that slow procession into Jazz that all adults must face.
