It depends. Sometimes it doesn't matter if they hit on the things I thought were horrible if the overall episode is good. Even with movies that I half like (Devil's Advocate) I get a chuckle because some of the things they say were things that I never thought of while watching it. But this episode seemed to match the energy of the movie because the movie is fucking boring. I mean mind numblingly boring. I think it was hard for them to find something to catch on to make fun of because the movie doesn't have any real crazy moments like Nothing But Trouble or isn't real silly like Justin to Kelly. I suppose they could have spend more time on Liotta's costume but then it would have turned into a Fashion Police-type show and I don't think anyone wants that.

I wish they had a scene where Liotta started playing the piano. That would have been great.

He had a holocaust movie? Good God that's awful. He better not see Django Unchained because if he makes a slavery horror/action flick I will start killing people. Literally.

I hope someone really asks the question, "why the hell is Burt Reynolds in this fucking movie?" Did he really want a European vacation that badly? Doesn't he still have some Cannonball Run money saved up for stuff like this or did Loni Anderson just take him to the cleaners? Out of all the confusing casting choices, he is the most confounding.

The only thing that is racist about Tyler Perry movies is that some white comedians use it as an entry point into the "black people are like THIS" bits and some white people use Tyler Perry movies to judge all black art that has ever been created, which is kind frustrating. I kinda agree with Jeremy that they aren't the best movies in the world, but there are not alot of black filmmakers at this time. Its like Hollywood can only allow one, and he took the Antoine Fuqua's spot.

DO NOT DO THIS MOVIE! This movie is great and I still stand by it. It was a good 1hr+ commercial for Super Mario Bros 3 and the Power Glove. Plus you Fred Savage at the height of his Fred Savageness.

I saw this movie awhile ago and it is fucking crazy. I love that the robot sounds like Foghorn Leghorn (who would program it to speak like that?) and that for half the movie, Munro is in a two-piece bikini. Plus, guys, there a fight with a 50-ft robotic woman, in a steel bikini. Look at it! Then jerk off!

I watched this as a kid and even then it kinda bored me. The only redeeming qualities: this was the first time I saw a woman in her underwear on-screen and I loved that there was a talking duck.

This would be a joyless viewing for everyone. Its hard to get through "funny" movies that are anything but.

This movie was just plain boring! Even the action scenes made me yawn! There was no establishment of the world so half the time I didn't know what the hell was going on. There was no establishment of the characters, so for about half the movie, I thought that Leelee was Burt Reynolds' daughter instead of the Eastern European mage's. Ray Liotta and Stratham were miscast in this. I half kept expecting both of them to pull of .45s and start shooting shit up. There is one good point about this though: it was good to see black people in a fantasy setting and have prominent roles. That was the only thing that made me smile.

Well, if its such an unpopular idea why does this podcast exist? Why do white people put on blackface? Why do they feel the need to shout racial slurs? I recognize that there are white people (Peggy McIntosh, Tim Wise) who are actively fighting against this, but they are the extreme minority.

Who are the parents in this situation and does it really matter when the practical outcome is that they both get to benefit from the same well of power? Not really. Once again, it does not matter, if the practical outcome is that you still, as a poor white person, do not have to put with constant policing because it is understood that you are the "backbone of the nation" and this other non-white poor person is the reason why the country is "falling apart." And yes, everyone should be treated fairly, but the first step toward that is calling out the instances where you are not being treated the same. These are black men, and no matter their money or fame in academia, they will continue to be treated like black men, which is less than. There is a great short story by James Baldwin where the main character is a black man who left the States to go to Europe to be an actor. In the story he's coming back to the States for his father's funeral and for the first time notices how mean white people are to each other. He had been so fixed on how they have been treating him that he just never had time to notice. So once he reaches the States though, he notices a change where there is a solidarity to keep him, a black man, in "check." Even the white bellhops, the lowest of the low economically, will not take his bags. There is economic division within the white community. But the thing that ALL white people can agree on. The idea that has OVERWHELMING support from the white community is the myth that they are superior to all other non-white people on the planet and that it is there birthright to rule over them. There is massive solidarity in that idea. Just look at the history of our country -- every white person from Nelson Rockefeller to the toothless, Appalachian hillbilly -- brought fully into this myth and their actions show it. You're just being disingenuous here. The "working class hero" is a white dude in a hard hat. Has been that way in this country since the Industrial Revolution.

Andrew is not racist, and I like how he is critical of everyone when it comes to race, even himself and his family. He does this because he know that we are living a racist society and every day you are getting messages, subtle and overt, that let you know where you are on the hierarchy. He is much better than people who say they aren't racist, then go and say racist shit. You know those types of people.
