Until now I wasn't a fan of TJ (didn't have feelings either way about him) but he was one of the best guests ever! I am usually hateful and jealous towards people who have the right amount of confidence and attitude and lives with a positive outlook (because I think deep down they are really miserable) but TJ is the real deal, and is aware of his success but also grateful for it.
Â
A regular feature I also look forward to is guests' reactions to the "blast my nips" sound effect.

Podcast Perfection.

I guess this is feeding the trolls, but....
Â
It's called How Did This get Made, not "This is a Bad Movie." The movies mentioned in the podcast can be movies they enjoyed, but have some sort of out there element. And as three working actors in Hollywood, they have great connections and utilizing that to bring in great interviews is a plus.
Â
I also like that these interviewers are on the "mini-sodes"- only having three minutes of HDTGM on the off weeks is depressing! Plus, it saves all the discussion of the movie for the main episode, and Jason needs the whole hour to get out his anger.
Â
I am wondering if there will be a Piranha 3DD episode, or if covering movies they are in are off-limits...

I can't explain in words how much joy this show brings me. I wonder if one day their kids will also make an appearance. I really want to hear Laney's side of things.

So used to hearing Scott as a host, but love him as a guest! Also, of you asked someone who was strampunk what steampunk meant, I am sure they would also have a hard time explaining it.
-
Finally! Craig on CBB! Please have him back.
-
I wonder what Beverly has as Laney's ringtone.
-
Since no producer cut in to make an announcement, I assume Christine's pilot didn't get picked up. 'Tis a shame.

I'm not usually such a sap, but the puzzle proposal story warmed my usually cold heart.

Does it really matter if a gay man portrays a hetero man in a movie? I mean, assuming we're talking about an actual actor?
Â
From what I interpreted, Paul wasn't implying that it necessarily matters (because gay men portraying hetero characters happens all the time), but that this movie was a vehicle for Lance Bass to become a hearthrob for girls everywhere, and the irony is that he was still in the closet at the time, and likely hated the experience because of that.
Â
Shannon, that video literally made vomit chunks rise in my throat. Also, Mandy Moore's facial expressions while singing are redonk.

Also I did a search for Tiptoes fanfiction, nothing.
Â
This is a national tragedy.

Bless you Scott for the Baywatch Nights reference.

I am legit scared to watch this.

I love that Listler actually drew the broken heart on the post-it (as seen in the pictures). Methinks Listler would really be into Bob Ducca.
-
I would looooove to hear more about what happened at that Purim Carnival.
Â
Also, I'm hoping that Laney, Rochelle and Jordan make an appearance someday.
Â
This podcast consistently makes me happy no matter what my mood I'm in. Jamie and Jessica are gifts to comedy.

Forget Maxwell House- Ronna and Beverly should write a new Haggadah.
-
Hey everyone just so you know we didn't make any money from talking to Lennon and Jess about BFFs. (also just FYI none of us have ever seen a dime from this podcast from advertising) We do it because it's fun and we like it. That's that.
Â
Paul, it's awesome that you set the record straight, but no worries- there was only a few people who were bothered by the interview among a huge sea of supporters.
Â
With that said, I do like to see varying opinions on these boards- as long as it's civil and thoughtful. I listen to Earwolf podcasts to escape my day-today annoyances, so I'm not looking for any intense discussions, but I sort of like when someone has a variant opinion, so let's not jump all over them.
Â
And to stay on topic- glad you are goin' old school with Pluto Nash.

LOVED the reference to the Brad Pitt episode of Growing Pains! It's so sad (awesome) that I caught it!
-
Jamie was great and I was surprised to hear that she didn't really know Elizabeth and Andy before this- the flow was so great it seemed like they were old friends.
Â
Yes, I agree on more dark topics! That's why comedy exists!
-
You had me at "snail trail." Bravo, Jon Daly. Hopefully we won't have to wait as long for the third episode.
-
I can't believe there are not more comments here- this was a standout episode. Michelle was great, and now I have a bit of a lesbian crush on her. I lost it at her "sounds like a Queen Latifah movie" aside. I hope she gets cast in a pilot and not just as a "fat receptionist." And if she's considered fat by industry standards, that's pretty sad.

re: Elizabeth's feelings about Hasidic Jews. As someone who was raised in Reform Judaism (but now atheist), Hasidic and Orthodox Judaism seems GALAXIES away from my religion. My interpretation is that practicing the beliefs and rituals must happen at all costs, no matter what. I always found it strange that some members of the community would, for example, invent a device in which one could operate an elevator using levers because according to law, they weren't allowed to operate machinery on the Sabbath. isn't creating the machine more like "cheating" than actually honoring the law? I say all this FAR from being any sort of expert on anything about Judaism (despite 4 years of Hebrew school).
Â
Great show as always!

This is amazing and I hope I can make it. Also an awesome way to utilize social media around a shared interest.

To whomever does the great illustrations based on Earwolf podcast episodes:
Â
Please do an illustration of Thrice-E and Gillsy fighting crime among centaurs and fairies. It will make my life.

Episode 163 — Burning Love

Ditto to all of the above. The other thing that made it great was hearing Steve Agee laugh in delight at Mark Orlando's absurdities.
