It's funny to see that people on here actually think LDDC doesn't like Matt and that they were actually upset about anything! I guess there needs to be clueless folk out there for the rest of us to laugh at! Like I said on the TL thread, there wasn't anything LDDC could do this week to be worse than TLs submission this week but they won't win and it probably would be better for them if they don't. Surprisingly, I find myself not caring about the outcome after being invested in the competition throughout. The LDDC submission was actually very good except most of the time the guy with the weird voice spoke. But, he even had a couple of good lines that paid off in the end. Comedians sitting around in a gabfest are not easy to do and fail more often than not so it's nice to hear it work and also nice to hear about comedy outside of LA. I fear that winning would end up making the show bad trying to focus on the US too much and TL can probably benefit from the guidance, support and recognition so I'm really good either way. Definitely have another season!! -

Episode 10.1 — The Final Challenge: Day 1

I'm sure TL will win but I'd have to say they did a wonderful job of making Charlie Day boring... There is nothing that LDDC could do to be worse than this week's TL but as someone said on the previous page, TL wins because they are in the US, they have a chick, and some other BS... TLs clip would have probably been much better if the did Totally or Lame upfront.... -

Come on, man. You really should do your own weekly podcast on Earwolf (rather than your live show.. and Asscat when you are on there) !!
-
And then there were 2: Little Dum Dum Club vs. Totally Laime

Just hit Edit on the All page and you can move them around. -

Both shows clearly have led through the whole season and nobody should be surprised they are the finalists. They should be. I think Totally Laime has skated twice and Dum Dum really only stumbled a little this week but still should have been safe. I think if Matt would have provided a little background, like usual, and clarified that the Tommy's trip with his parents was already known about by everybody in the freaking world except the two judges, they would have been safe. Maybe not. I don't know. Totally Laime definitely appealed to their target audience, the male judges, with sex talk so I guess they get points for that, too! No matter who wins the challenge next week, I feel like I have won by finding one must download podcast and a few other to probably check out every week. Dum Dum is currently in the fifth spot on my Instacast list and Totally Laime is right behind them and Car Talk! (Comedy Bang Bang, Ronna & Beverley, This Week with Larry Miller and Sklarbro Country are 1-4; FYI). So, thanks Earwolf! Good luck to all four contestants next week! -

I think that Earwolf could have a conspiracy to get the best podcast and oh wait, the goal of this competition is to find the best podcast! An hour with Zach Galifinachas would suck. he has funny moments but you have to wade through a lot of boring shit to get to it. He might be a comedians comedian but they can have him! It's all a matter of opinion, though. I don't see how anyone could say that Robot Borat skit was remotely funny!! I think LHR definitely deserved to be in the top three but they struck out on this one. I don't care what the criteria was, that was so bad they should have been disqualified, as it more or less was. I'll be listening to their podcast so I'm not an LHR hater.

Mark's point: "The fact that you were "fooled" about who was going to eliminated this week, when it was painfully obvious to EVERY OTHER PERSON WHO HEARD THE PODCAST, automatically renders your opinion moot," couldn't have been more incorrect but I understand that you may have been venting some. Matt fooled me because he seemed to accentuate that the slate would be wiped clean/clear and that nothing that had happened before would count... so that would have meant one of the two that have dominated the season could have been eliminated... and, I'm not a Totally Laime fan but do recognize that they were clearly the best a few of the weeks. I actually didn't think they were the best this week but the judges seem to respond well to discussions of teenage girl sex so why not give them what they want?! 8) I also was listing my preferences for the judges.. seriously though, you can't say anyone I listed as my dream team or honorable mention wouldn't be great... impossible to get? Maybe.. But definitely great! And to Matt's post: I agree 100%

Matt had me fooled on this week's elimination! (and nervous, too!!) Anyways, suggestion one is that if Matt doesn't return, the next host should be able to pronounce wolf correctly!! But, I think Matt could possibly be what makes the show so he definitely needs to come back! In regards to other suggestions discussed last week, it would be great for you to send the file of the coaching segment to the contestants so they can all benefit from all of Matt's advice. Of course, you would have to cut out contestants' plans for that week. If you are worried about someone leaking it, you can encrypt the files and ID them so it would be hard to leak and would be traceable. I would love it if you could have the same judges for the whole season. The two finalists are way better at podcasting than most of the guest judges. All of the judges that have bad shows were frustrating because they all seemed to go on and on about things that they aren't even good at. The dream team of judges would be Matt, Scott Saucerman, and Tom Lennon... No doubt about it! Matt Walsh, Nick Kroll, Sarah Silverman, either Sklar and Paul Scheer would be nice, too! Of this year's judges, Jordan Morris, Tig, Doug Benson, Jesse Thorn, Jimmy Pardo (never funny off stage), and Doug Benson were completely horrible, annoying, not funny and talking out oh their @sses! The rest were good to great including Paul F Tompkins actually being tolerable enough to almost make my list of dream team honorable mention! Having said all of that, you could also have two nobody's be judges (me!) via the web, obviously not allowing fans of any of the Smodcasts. Anyways, it would be nice to have consistency and letting people benefit from past performance is a good thing according to educational assessment research (my field). I'm hoping the final week will be a challenge where the two finalists could do a 10-15 minute montage of their best stuff from the submissions that includes a 2 minute ending that is original material (stolen from a previous suggestion above). Whatever next week brings, I will love it since the two best shows did make it to the finals! (and because Frank and Matt will be there!)

They should definitely be caught up ahead of time by the producers before the show starts.
