Remember the bit where they wouldn't say your name on the podcast? That was funny.

I don't know what License to Drive is. I'll just watch the trailer and pretend I've watched the whole thing. I've listened to Haim before so I'm good there.

2. What have you listened to or watched today? (This question is inspired by Andrew)
Â
Today I watched the first ep of Togetherness, and I listened to CBB. I also listened to Panda Bear and Sleater Kinney.
Â
2. I have a question for you and Honlads: How popular is Earwolf in the UK and Ireland? Are you two super cool outsiders with a fringe knowledge of American comedy podcasts?
Â
The only person I know that properly knows about podcasts is my cousin. He told me to listen to Doug Loves Movies about five years ago, because we always both got Leonard Maltin's Movie Guide. From there I found Comedy Death Ray. The first CDR episode I heard had Dax Shepard on it. I had never heard of PFT, Andy Daly, or Scott, or any of the usual guests. The only names I recognised back then were people like Samberg, Weird Al, etc. but I listened regardless. I didn't understand what was going on for a while. I didn't understand "doing a character". Danny Mahoney committing suicide by walking into the sea with a heavy coat on was when it clicked for me.
Â
I sampled some of the other shows that started around the time Earwolf formed, and CDR became CBB. I started listening to The Reality SHOW Show about halfway through its run. I don't watch any of the shows that are talked about on it (except for Hard Knocks. I loved hearing them talk about something I'd seen.), so I thought I wouldn't get it. The clips did the job, and I loved it. Listened to HH Ep. 1 the day it dropped, and now here we are today. Podcasts have been pretty influential on me. I wouldn't know about good comedy, or a lot of the pop culture that I now like.
Â
I have one friend that listens to How Did This Get Made?, and nothing else. None of my friends even listened to Serial.

So yeah Andrew and I are super cool outsiders, like Joe Rogan and David Choe.

I don't really know anything about it, to be honest, because I'm not interested in economics or politics, but I'd hesitate to say that anything that 330 million people use is "for idiots".

It's not really that weird, or for idiots. It's just different.

If that Barry Nelson thing had happened to me I would have lost my mind and derailed the podcast. Jimmy's such a pro.

But he's seen plenty of them die...
This summer, Honlads is, "The Comedian Killer."
Get ready, you'll literally die laughing.
Â
Â
Â
Back alley, behind a comedy club. Door opens. Laughter is heard, emanating from within. Male comedian (36) emerges, calling back to his friends.
Â
COMEDIAN: Yeah, man! Haha! It tasted like goddamn shit!
Â
Comedian begins to take a cigarette out as he closes the door. He is a little startled as he notices Honlads standing in the shadows. Honlads is wearing a sinister big coat.
Â
COMEDIAN: Woah!! Hey man! Wow. You scared me there. What are you doing back here? Hey, you got a light?
HONLADS: Hmm. [Honlads steps out into the dim light of the alley. He grins, smugly. He has so many teeth.] I guess you could say I have a light.
Â
Honlads raises his arm high above his head and begins to bludgeon the comedian with, like, a lamp or something.
