I actually thought this was probably the best Brosnan Bond besides Goldeneye. Die Another Day and The World is Not Enough are putrid, however.

This movie definitely did not have a protagonist, which is kind of daring now that I think about it.

Big Bully (Rick Moranis and Tom Arnold, together at last!!!)

What was poor Don Knotts doing in this? -

Yeah, that set fight was infamous. There's another video where they're all in a car and O'Russell & Tomlin are going to town on each other while poor Dustin Hoffman looks like he just wants to crawl under a rock and hide. Though Tomlin said later she'd still work with him again so no hard feelings I guess. -

The only thing I ever liked Mark Wahlberg in was I Heart Huckabees, which is a movie most people hate. -
Yeah, this doesn't strike me as a good candidate.

I imagine Tom Green's career would make for a worthwhile discussion all on its own. How Did Tom Green's Career Get Made?

Miley is a fine singer, but this is too much song for her. This will forever be my favorite Jolene cover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4m5KrPXL4wI

I've mentioned this myself in the past, but I actually think the boys have been watching themselves on the last few shows. June has had some of the best observations lately. Of course, there are times where everyone steps on everyone else, that's sort of the nature of the beast.

Doctor Who: The Movie (1996)
seanotron replied to JeremyPhillips's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
Not a great film, but I feel like an episode devoted to it would quickly devolve into picking on Doctor Who itself, which would send me into a nerd rage. -
I love that Fred accidentally bought the soundtrack instead of the movie.

Grindhouse(Planet Terror and/or Death Proof)

Well, I'm not saying they should, I'm just saying they've done deliberately 'bad' before. -

Oh, I couldn't get 20 minutes into War Zone. I'm a bit June-ish when it comes to violence. and hey oh that movie is crazy violent. -
Chelsea's laugh is the best. Especially when she's laughing at her own jokes.

Worth noting that this was made during the 'feeding him his lines through an earpiece' stage of Brando's career.

But as the OP noted, this would be in the spirit of Crank or Punisher War Zone. And I could definitely see the gang doing Machete, actually. -
When you approach Jim Carrey and even he feels your movie is too stupid for him to make, it's time to let the project die.
-
I really didn't think it was bad. It seemed to me to be of a similar mind as Mean Girls. But I definitely would not describe it as award bait.
-
I am pretty sure Easy A was not award bait. Nor was it nominated for much of anything.
-
Actually, I think that's very much in keeping with a novel that's all about excess. One of my biggest issues with the Robert Redford version was how damn sterile the whole thing was. Nothing about it said Jazz Age to me, whereas this version seems to have captured the madness of the era, at the very least. Gatsby's life should seem like the ultimate dream until the facade starts chipping away.
-
As far as Gatsby goes, I doubt it would make for a good episode. It's very deliberately OTT which is in keeping with Luhrman's style. You could make fun of the art direction/CGI, etc., but the plot/script is basically straight from F Scott Fitzgerald.

A lot of people don't seem to understand that just because you didn't like a movie does not mean it's going to be a good candidate for HDTGM. People nominating stuff like Children of Men are just straight-up trolling, as far as I'm concerned.
