Nerdist Industries President Adam Rymer is the guest for this episode of The Wolf Den, discussing how the Nerdist brand went from being Chris Hardwick’s website and podcast to becoming an agile and fast-growing digital media company, now part of Legendary Entertainment, the studio behind successful movies like Batman Begins, 300 and Interstellar. Adam talks about how Nerdist is both like a modern cable network and a multi-channel network (MCN), but is also different. That’s because Nerdist works with a smaller cadre of carefully chosen talent, but creating content that works on different platforms. He also explains how podcasting fits into the company’s high level strategy, and how the medium is still integral to Nerdist along with being a meaningful part of the bottom line. Cameron & Scott chat about eradicating men from the Earth, Portland food, and Cameron’s old job as a circus ringmaster when suddenly vigilante crime fighter J.W. Stillwater emerges from the shadows. J.W. enlists Cameron & Scott on the case of the continuing California drought by participating in his quiz called “Y’all Heard Any of These Names Before?”

The spirit of the recently deceased narco-sculptor H.R. Giger is back from hell for some unfinished business and the only one who can send him back is Reverend Robert Parsimony.   21. Kulap, "Howard Michael Motorcycle," and "Spin Doctor Stard" start the show with the hardest part about sleep deprivation, as well as how you know what success is. Then, Howard recalls the tale of his latest Gu Cruise shoot, filmed on location with Stard in the seediest part of America - as opposed to the "sex manage capital" that Howard currently lives in. Wie threatens to leave the show when the group continues to stiff arm his hip-hop themed Dragon Manor memorabilia, despite being his best collection yet.
