I can't believe the boys didn't talk about this, but I feel that the tonight snack with Jimmy Falcon is so great because it's like a party every episode! Sometimes he'll even had a guest play beer pong, which you KNOW is just so cool because a famous guy like Jammy knows how to party like us regular bros -

Sup frosh! I'm new as well. What's great about this forum is that there's years of personal relationships and inside jokes that you will definitely understand and not feel alienated by!- 190 replies

Because I know nothing about how television shows get made, it seems surprising to me that there are zero networks out there that wouldn't want to have an SNL competitor in an i4h or Assssscat TV show. You could do a live, hour-long sketch show with a musical guest and not have to spend a single dollar on sets, props or theater. Plus you'd have the distinction of having an IMPROVISED sketch show. And it would be automatically funnier than SNL, because I4H is always funnier than SNL. -

Mr. O'Connor: You have a lot of sex jokes. When you are in the bone zone, are you just laughing so hard? -

I guess that's true. I think I'd like to see it just because it's something that you're passionate about; and it's obviously something that they're passionate about. I found your points about how the mentality of short-form is totally different. Short form is all about one-upsmanship and long form is all about support. I think it would be interesting to hear their side of it, because even though I hate that Whose Line is associated with improv rather than UCB or improv4humans (which is the best sketch comedy show, improvised or otherwise, of the past decade) I have to admit I find their show entertaining for what it is. But I feel like they should use the term "comedic party games" instead of "improv." -

Matt, I would SO love you to have one of the Whose Line guys on the show for a Case Closed. I don't think they're unfunny at all, by the way. They play funny party games. But I totally agree they shouldn't get the word "improv." -

Not to take all the credit but most of the letters were probably from me. I sprained my pelvis doing an olly last month; had to take a sabbatical from my day job punching up 2 Broken Girls (the script not actual girls ROTFL!) Basically stayed inside and wrote letters to AV club. Tried to have my writers assistant write some of them, but he's so much worse than me and so terrible at everything that I did it myself. -
