I thought this was a thread about our favorite names that the gang has given movie characters. In which case I would say Hubcap & Turkey Sandwich.

Episode 95 — I Pet A Tiger!
JacobCrites replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
The titular sketch was off the chain. -
Just relistened to this one. Arguably the greatest episode of all time. I don't know how I forgot about this one, but it deserves to be revisited. It's just everything great about the show wrapped into one incredible episode.
-
Anyone who thinks catchment is a thing is an idiot and not as smart as Dave Koechner.
-
Stunning from front to back. Besser was in top form, and Mohr is OOTBFTGOAT! (One Of The Best First Time Guests Of All Time). Scott even got a Pulled Bjork Sandwich call-back in there. Never forget!

This whole season has just been unbelievably genius. Also, tonight's "Gilly" reference was perfect.

Episode 69 — Crocodile Dundee In Los Angeles
JacobCrites replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
Really solid episode. IT'S BEEN awhile since we've had a Director's Cut episode, and it did not disappoint. -
What scenes belong in I4H Best Of Vol. 3??
JacobCrites replied to BrettMorris's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Yes to all these. -
Well that's unacceptable! It's not that kind of post!

I know this.

I think it just stands out because that episode with Andy Ritchter and Cake Boss (cake boss) was my first episode of CBB and possibly my all time favorite
-
That's actually one of the more frequent callbacks with PFT's characters.
-
Having never seen Boardwalk Empire, this episode still had me in tears. PFT has been stunning this year. He's gotta be in at least 6 of my top 10 of the year, which is insane.
-
I've just about caught up on every episode...
JacobCrites replied to DavidBrianDanielBasile's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
improv4humans has possibly dethroned CBB this year as GOAT Podcast. But tied with both of those, in my opinion, is The Long Shot (featuring Eddie Pepitone, who you might remember as The Diner Marshall on CBB). Scott was actually the special guest this week on the show! -
I appreciate this clarification, actually. I was sort of bummed by the "video games are a waste of time" generalization as well. But I hear what you're saying. In a year with artistically ambitious games like Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us and Luigi's Mansion topping the charts while Hollywood is pooping out endless superhero movies and reboots, I was about to go on a rant of irritating proportions. ...But yeah, this episode was hilarious once ALW got in the mix. One of the best WYRs in recent memory. "Andrew Lloyd Weber, which scenario are you voting f--" "Werewolves." "Why?" "You know why."

Episode 91 — Biohazard Acoustics
JacobCrites replied to Brett Arnold's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Seth just has the greatest one-liners. Ghost Peanutbutter, Deli Cleanse, Unlucky in Love and at the Gyno, etc. That Orca Jelly sketch gets funnier every time I listen to it. Possibly a best-of candidate. -
What scenes belong in I4H Best Of Vol. 3??

The Big Brother Program sketch (in which Wengert gets increasingly ridiculous phone calls from people wondering where he is--first a kid from the big brother program, leading up to a mail-order bride) is one of the best things ever. Other recent ones that spring to mind (and there's so many that I can't even think straight) are: -Carnival Game (feat. Todd glass trying to throw a ball in a bucket) -Bee Car -Bonobo Incest -Tom Petty Concert -Fair Weather Fans -Dire Elephant (although that one might not work out of context--it needs the momentum of Zach Woods getting thrown under the bus for 3 sketches in a row) -Lauren Lapkus Butt Play -Gamer/BleepBlorp5000 I think the most egregious omissions from the first two are: -Pharmacy Terrorism -Dodi Fayed Restaurant Sketch -Belly Button Prostitute (featuring Karate Joe) -Jack and Jill -
Episode 89 — Authentic Redneck Dialect
JacobCrites replied to Brett Arnold's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Do people realize you can fast forward through the ads? -
I can't express what a joy this episode was. Daly is absolutely genius here--how he manages to stay so quick on his feet while completely committing to each characters' distinct mannerisms and ways of speaking is beyond amazing. But Odenkirk nearly stole the show here with his enthusiasm. His past appearances have been pretty low key, but he seemed really jazzed here.

This episode nearly reached the level of comedy. "Americarn Carmic Strips."

The flawless run continues. Starr was an interesting presence on the show--he didn't force himself in to any scene. Just sort of waited for an opportunity to present itself. The Telemarketing sketch is a top ten all-timer.
