So was everyone blown away by Weirdo Scotty's smash hit "Tangelo"?
Â
I want to hear more of that, and I love how as the show goes on we get these little nuggets like the fact that scott made parody U2 songs and finally thought to bring it up a year after they started this
The whole song is on an early episode of Comedy Bang Bang. I've been listening to back-episodes of the show and they're all kind of running together so I can't remember which, but it's definitely worth checking out.

I've never mentioned this before because I just forgot, but Bono is one of by best friends. He lives at my house and I see him every day and he's always asking me what podcasts to go on. So maybe I could just ask him?

Jokes aside, I'm worried that S&H are taking a Christmas holiday at the worst possible time. I am very excited to hear you all on the call in episode, but more than that I really don't know what to think about the upcoming war between North Korea and Sony.
This was literally my first thought when this story was going on. I want the HH Scoop! Is some movies really is controversial as war?

It's the "you wanna feel young" part that kills me.

Hey. I'd just like to let you all know that we failed as a community. As Americans. As human beings (not to be confused with the Community Human Beings). Hollywood Handbook did not get a single mention in the AV Club readers choice awards. I'm not going to provide a link: HH didn't make the list so it's not worth reading. I would like to, in front of my forumgoers, God and everybody, apologize to Sean and Hayes. We could and should have done better. Think on your sins.

I haven't laughed this hard in awhile. I nearly squealed with glee when I saw the lineup, and it did not disappoint.
That marriage checklist in particular struck me.

Hey, Jacob, do you have a podcast?
Â
No but there's a lot of podcasts about me so I feel like I do, you know?

Pffft. Maybe I have a podcast too and I'm just too humble to talk about it? Huh? You ever think of THAT?!

I gotta back up my man Scott on that Coldplay record. Regardless of what you think of Coldplay, that was one of the best albums of the year.
And yeah, their Unbroken song is pretty lame.
Â
In more important news, The Almighty Daughter has potench to be one of the best mini eps

It's like that Louis CK bit. If you're going to say "the n-word" just say the actual n-word. You're hearing the real word in your head, so what's being protected, really? Having to also hear it with your ears? I don't get it.

This is a new GOAT contender. I sincerely do not understand how this show manages to top itself every week.

There are also no episodes of Superego, thus making it an instantly irrelevant list.

I feel like I’m gonna puke. I’ve been really busy this week and I haven’t been able to check the forums ‘til now.
Â
Can’t believe I missed the call-in ep – especially since I’ve been begging for another one for a while now.
Â
Hopefully it was a success and they will do them every now and again…
Â
I hear ya buddy

Matt Gourley's Fleming is one of my favorite things to ever exist.

THERE WAS A CALL IN SHOW???!!! This is what I get for forgetting to check the forums for a few days. Next time just have Hayes and Sean call me just in case.

I listened to the Chart Countdown show on Earwolf this morning to hear former HH guest Matt Gourley talk about charts. Quick recap:
Â
Matt mentioned that his show Super Eggos did a running joke about a restaurant called Hamburger Sandwich.
Matt said that Kim K's big butt "looks like a peach."
The hosts Kramer and Tulip asked Matt to "speak on that" or "speak on it" four times.
Â
I haven't finished the ep yet but I will alert you of anything else notable.
This sounds like complete madness
-
Something Awful used to be pretty great; their old instant-messenger pranks are still really fun to go back and read. But now? They're Something not good, if you ask me!
-
Since when are people allowed to talk about this show in other places besides this fucking brain trust of a forum?
RIGHT? I was shocked and appalled.
I refuse to accept that the show's listenership is expanding and more and more people are talking about it.

EDIT: Also, I want to say that Andy did a very good job today, and also a very nice job. He was funny and smart, even if he did forget to properly prep Mr. Paul

This is one of my new favorites. Pam Murphey and Will Hines brought some of the funniest characters in the history of the podcasts. A couple of GOATs you might say!

I'd like to hear more about Andy's "press tour" technique

If you wanted to make things easier on yourself (not that there's anything easy about game design) you could just mod Mario 64 so he has a chef's hat, change the sound-effects, make all the background music music from the show, and swap in some new character models. Like if you could somehow just put a new face on bowser and call him the pie minister that would be pretty dope. All people want is to see a little Mario with a B on his chef's hat (for Boss!) running around yelling "Cake Boss!" and when he dies, of course, instead of "Mama Mia!" he'll yell "Maron!" or "Pasta Vazoo!"
Â
Plus people mod N64 games all the time and Nintendo doesn't care. Somebody recently modded the game to allow co-op with Luigi.

Sean or Hayes? Shayes
Do you have a cat? My dog is the cuteness equivalent of 10 kittens, does that count?
Can I see your D (dad)? Ask a guy to dinner first! Sheesh!
