I love the AV Club but their Podmass is terrible.
On their best of 2012, boring dorm-room philosophy chat show You Made it Weird was placed #4, while stuff like improv4humans and How Did This Get Made? were completely unranked.
Â
EDIT:
Ah. I see. You meant it as a joke. Carry on.
-
One of those episodes where every minute was perfect.
Â
Besser's Silent Night was probably the highlight for me, though

Yes!!!
Â
By the way, if you guys like St Clair, Zouks and Parham together, check out episode 42 of improv4humans. Amazing.
YES. If anyone here has somehow ignored improv4humans, that is the perfect jumping off point.
Â
Also, is this going to be a regular podcast? The advertisements made it sound like yes...
-
Oh my god. Mantzoukas as Gutterballs. This is just perfect.

I don't know if you're talking about The Hobbit or Liz & Dick. I'm gonna go with Liz & Dick.
I was in fact talking about Liz & Dick.
Â
Though, for the record, I loved the Hobbit. The critical response is pretty baffling.

I think the hurricane Jon Cryer sketch is one of the few i4h sketches in its run that I really didn't "get."
-
Full movie is on Lifetime right now.

Â
If anything else watching this will make me enjoy the Hobbit, which I'm seeing in a few hours, all that much more.
Â
Â
EDIT: 30 Seconds in and it's already amazing.

You ever notice how I have seven washing machines on my front porch?

(sorry, double post)

The bit at the end with your friend was dry and not funny at all. I kept waiting for the punchline but he kept going on and on...I kept waiting for the joke, but there was no payoff.
Â
Also the whole "If you didn't realize it was a joke, then that's the joke, you're the fool." Approach to comedy works only with clever material.
Â
This was a terrible bit, and frankly I had wished it was real, The only true payoff to this bit would to have him be crushed under the weight of his own shirts.
Â
Avoid having him on in the future please, this was pure garbage.
I agree with 0% of this comment.

I feel old because people younger than me probably have no idea who Orson Welles is.
Pretty sure all lovers of film, cinema and comedy know who Orson Welles is.

I didn't understand what James was going for but I sure enjoyed it.
Â
And Demetri had great chemistry with everyone. Hope it doesn't take long to have him back on the show.

I had to listen to this episode twice. And just reading the title of it here makes me want to listen to it again.

Great episode. Yet another can't-miss podcast.
I'm genuinely loving the story the DM is creating, by the way. The twists and turns are genuinely interesting, which was thoroghly unexpected.
-
Finally listened today.
Pure genius. The scary thing is that McKay's character is completely realistic. I've met countless idiots like that.
Â
Amazing show, and I can't wait for the next one.

Dude.
Click is the most unbelievable thing I've ever seen.
Â
I've never seem a more confoundingly stupid game show in my life. And I've watched many Univision game shoes.

Ouch! I'm so glad I just bought the regular DVD. I figured there'd be some extra-special box set down the line.
Â
That's such bullcrap, though. Sorry dude

Â
Let's do it!
Â
1. Wipeout
2. Time Bobby
3. Finger Guns
4. Farts and Procreation 2
5. Repeat Your Keyword
6. Highly Illogical
7. Words With Friends
8. Ghost Protocol
9. Popcorn.com
10. Raisin Norman Bates
-
Did people really think that was real?
-
Is it too much to ask for a one off podcast where Scott and Chris just talk about It's A Wonderful Life the whole time? That would be amazing.
Oh yes. I absolutely lost it.

One thing that struck me as amazing about this episode was how in-character everyone was. It seemed like everyone had re-listened to the Finger Guns episode, making sure their character stayed consistent with all the insane details that we already know about them.
Â
I really hope Womp It Up comes a regular show. I love the idea of a podcast taking place in a completely fictional universe with an ever-expanding, ridiculous backstory.
