This seems a little harsh. I haven't listened to a lot of her stand-up but are you saying it's all tired/hack bits about how she happens to be gay? Couldn't it be viewed as uplifting that her identity can be very "out" and still be successful?

I think he meant that they would talk about the party in the new digs on Tooch, I could be wrong though. I feel like I should also clarify a little more with what I said yesterday: 1. When I said there have been weak episodes in the past and there may be more in the future I wasn't specifically referring to this episode. That's all an opinion anyway. I like Jensen a lot and Gallery 1988 is really cool. Howard and Kulap both seemed to have a good time and as long as that happens I'm good with the episode. 2. What I said about Nova reads a little harsh to me now, so I apologize for that. I don't hate her, I wish her the best. She's just not for me. Furthermore she's my age and I don't think she's representative of most of the people in my age group. Regardless of having a bad childhood and a strange upbringing, she could stand to have a little more humility and appreciation for what she's been given in spite of all the bad places she has been before. I'm just glad that she has Jensen who seems to be trying his best to manage her as well as teach her a little bit about being an adult.

Awesome line-up from some of the best return guests. All of these people have been around since the first ten episodes of the show right? I. fucking. love. Katie. Dippold. Billy and Anthony both have a really good, mellow energy that suits my taste a lot. I read your first post as saying something along the lines of, "who are these no-name guests? why would we care about them?" So that's what I was addressing. There's no implication in my post about what I like or don't like. Just to be clear, I don't like buzzfeed and I don't read it no matter who writes the articles or puts together the dumb list. I haven't enjoyed any of Nova's music and she doesn't seem like the kind of person I would want to hang out with. I listen because I love Howard and Kulap, there have been weak episodes in the past and there will be more in the future. That's OK because most of the episodes are great (and free), and whatever they want to do for #200 is OK too. It's their show. I'm not attacking you for having an opinion or expressing said opinion. Just saying that snarky first comments often aren't well-received by Chahtists.

Jensen is a friend of the show and has been on once or twice before. Nova is an artist that Jensen works with and Howad and Kulap like her. Kulap books the guests as far as I know, it's not about how "famous" the guests are.
