MOD NOTE: Please check existing threads before posting a new one
DanEngler replied to Shannon's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
No worries! The search function ignores 3-letter words, so "the 6th day" would never return any results. -
Episode 96 - The Bell House: Live from The Bell House (w/ Nathan Lee Graham, Chelsea Clarke, Shannon O’Neill, Gary Richardson)
DanEngler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
It wasn't ideal, but it wasn't by any means unlistenable. Never have I wanted a video version of SPONT more than when Nathan Lee Graham is guest. -
You can check out the show's iTunes page in your browser for a list of currently available episodes. You can also subscribe to the RSS feed in an RSS reader (I like Feedly) and get notifications/download links when new episodes arrive.

You cannot leap to the defense of a woman's autonomy and defend your right to use a gendered slur in the same sentence, bro.

He was referring to the rotating set of archived episodes that will be available for free in the regular podcast feed. You can download all of the ones available today, and grab the next set when they're rotated several months from now. After a few of these cycles, you'll eventually have all of them. Alternately, Howl provides the complete archive of all episodes with no ad interruptions.

Incorrect. Earwolf's then-CEO Jeff Ullrich came into the forums and explained why they were removed: Either someone involved with the movies or someone involved with the show asked they be taken down, and Earwolf agreed to do so.

Guys, I tried to watch The Dictator last night and Jason is no longer in it! Apparently, after a fixed period, they put his character behind a paywall??? Unbelievable!

June appeared on a podcast called Terribly Funny (SoundCloud, iTunes) this week, and my main takeaways from her story are: 1. She and Paul have gone through hell in the past year. 2. It's amazing that they've found the wherewithal to record new episodes of HDTGM at all. 3. We listeners should be extra thankful as a result.

PAUL: What is your name, your alternate title for the movie, and your question? MAN 1: I'm the Jason of my group! MAN 2: No, I'm the Jason of my group! MAN 3: Guys! Guys! We're all the Jason of our group! MAN 4 [offscreen]: Hey! FUCK YOU, MAN! *throws a punch* Bedlam.

All of the Austinites here should start a Twitter/Facebook campaign to get everyone attending May's live HDTGM to wear a white oxford button-down and jeans.

#13 James Adomian: The Tom Leykis Radio Program Hilarious timing on the drops. Gave birth to Pamela from Big Bear, who appeared on later WSGLL episodes, Lauren's episode of Netflix Presents: The Characters, and the 2016 Comedy Bang Bang tour. #22 Joe Wengert: The California Supreme WinShow A very light premise, expanded into an hour-long episode by two masters of improv. #35 Matt Besser: Turing Tests with Caleb Smith A very well-established premise (following the plot of Ex Machina), where Besser had seen the movie and Lauren probably hadn't. #40 Brandon Johnson: Ooh Shit! Thats Fashion! with BeLaShange Insane silliness, Brandon's expertise. #53 Shaun Diston: The Wishing Well with Skee-Lo When the person playing Skee-Lo is the more grounded character, you know you've struck gold. Gave birth to Frank Dorito, who appeared on the 2016 Comedy Bang Bang tour and CBB proper. It's hard to limit it to just five! Special dispensation goes to #42 Big Grande: Teachers' Lounge, which was spun off into its own podcast, the funniest original series on Howl.

To avoid causing headaches for anyone at Earwolf, please don't link to streaming movies from questionably legal sources. Thank you!

Please come back, Adam Scott Aukerman
DanEngler replied to emki's topic in U Talkin' Talking Heads 2 My Talking Head
Rest assured, any time anything U2-related happens, dozens (if not hundreds) of people notify them on Twitter. SEE ALSO: Cake Boss and PFT, the Rockettes and Andy Daly, etc. -
A message from Earwolf's CEO about yesterday's episode de-publishing
DanEngler replied to ErikDiehn's topic in General Earwolf
When you copy text from Google Docs or other web pages and paste it into the forum's text editor, the text style (including color) gets carried over. I hate it but there's no workaround except turning off text formatting altogether. -
Don't worry about it. The search function ignores three-letter words, so it never would have worked.

I quit Twitter and Instagram for the holidays and was unaware. I'd delete my original comment, but my only solace is that I didn't contribute to the flood by @-ing them directly.

Thank you, Scott and Paul! Thank you, July Diaz and everyone at Earwolf! Thanks, ants!

I just updated the forum config as a test. You should be able to paste the URL between [soundcloud] tags, e.g.: [soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/comedybangbang/best-of-2016-pt-2[/soundcloud]

Episode 52 - The Star Wars Holiday Special with Larry Heider
DanEngler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in I Was There Too
I would agree but Blasooch doesn't seem to fit the "asked to perform implied nudity in an Ariana Grande video" archetype. Unless that too was a red herring designed to throw listeners off the trail of Starship One. -
Before anyone asks, this episode was recorded on December 10, three days before Alan Thicke died, which explains why it was not remarked upon. Also, the Christmas surprise is amazing beyond all comprehension.

For what it's worth, Kulap spoke candidly about a lot of these topics on Alison Rosen is Your New Best Friend.
