FYI: If you feel a sudden indescribable stabbing pain, that's probably just Shannon murdering you.- 14 replies

Episode 14 — Staind Glass
DanEngler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in U Talkin' Talking Heads 2 My Talking Head
Still waiting for "Hollywood Nights", the "I Love Films" spin-off where Scott and Scott discuss the Mannequin series that rocketed Meshach Taylor to stardom. -
Episode 91 — Vintage Watch Collector
DanEngler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
I'm sure Dave Hill or Rich Fulcher or Jon Hendren will be in LA that weekend. Just introduce one of them as @dogboner. Ain't nobody gonna know the difference. -

Cyrrus, a 3e Elven ranger who became an Arcane Archer as we ventured into Epic territory. Twice resurrected after being stepped on by colossal creatures. I lost everything but an artifact bow after getting hosed by a green dragon's breath weapon. The three-year campaign, like my equipment, dissolved shortly thereafter. Niess Dromo, a Drow Ninja of The Crescent Moon who I modeled after the xenomorph from Alien. Black skin, bald head, neutral evil, fear of fire, ranks in Hide, Move Silently, et al. Unaware of what I was planning, our DM had us roll for a random character attribute from a table (possibly of his own creation?), and I got acid blood. SCORE.

Pretty sure it's Brynn O'Malley, noted Broadway actress and Bobby Moynihan's girlfriend.

The date for the Seattle show (their first ever live show) was November 02, 2011.

Episode 284 — A Thrilling CBB Adventure Hour
DanEngler replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Maybe it's just me, but for me, I always find it peculiar when a self-described "die hard CBB fan" registers an account on the Earwolf forums specifically to shit on the show.- 49 replies

You can find direct links to Earwolf's sponsors on the individual episode pages. In this case, you're looking for Bombfell.

While you're at it, Brett, here's a tip for all of the studio computers. #donk

What an ending! What a campaign! What an astonishing lack of fuckbotches in the climactic battle! As far as the future of Nerd Poker goes, how about a series of LOST-style flashbacks that explain what the gang were doing before they were captured by the Collectors? Each one-shot would last at least a few episodes and could leverage Sark's notes to explain things like Sir Richard's missing hand.

People go their separate ways all the time. It was during subsequent interviews, wherein Dustin literally and unironically likened Earwolf to the Gestapo, that I realized he is an insufferable dickbag.

I thought I heard you cracking up on a few occasions, but asked myself "Why would Jeff be in the studio for a CBB recording?" It's good to be the king CEO.

Comedy Central has put the entire first season (minus next week's finale) on YouTube.

Jeff, I think the fact that you penned a lengthy response to a tiny number of complaints—in lieu of spending your limited downtime with your family—speaks volumes about how much you care about Earwolf, your hosts, and the listeners. I'm a firm advocate of ad-supported podcasts. Given a choice between "the shows I love disappearing" and "enduring 90 seconds of ads during a 90 minute show", I will always opt for the latter. If my time on the forums is any indication, no product is too mundane to avoid complaints, but a listener construing any ad as a "betrayal of trust" suggests a woeful lack of perspective. Finally, while you were gracious in trying to shield your staff from any blowback resulting from this matter, we all know that Cody was ultimately to blame. God dammit, Cody.

As far as I recall, the Necromancer threatened to wipe out all of their homeworlds, and Glinishmore was just the first spot they chose to liberate. If nothing else, I assume even the impulsive narcissists would want to exact BLOODY VENGEANCE against that asshole.

Howard and Brody are touring as part of Funny or Die's Oddball Festival, so they aren't booking the venues themselves. Howard was also here with Kyle Kinane and Sean Patton last summah, and the Neptune was at best 1/3 full. Can't blame them for skipping Seattle if the chartists don't bother showing up.
