It concerns a team that has to drill to the center of the Earth and set off a series of nuclear explosions in order to restart the rotation of the Earth's core. The film was directed by Jon Amiel, and starred Aaron Eckhart, Hilary Swank, Delroy Lindo, Stanley Tucci, Tchéky Karyo, DJ Qualls, Bruce Greenwoodand Alfre Woodard. "In a poll of hundreds of scientists about bad science fiction films, The Core was voted the worst." *Currently on Netflix.

I bought a VHS copy of this for $1.00. It is soooooo bad/amazing.

They probably blew the budget on that exploding television scene in the beginning and training Billy Baldwin to jump into a lake sideways while still shooting a gun.

Best acting: 1. Stop & Shop Clerk who answers the "eeny meeny miny moe" phone call (possibly the only black person in this movie) 2. Adam ( Scott Michael Campbell) the computer nerd guy. "I was hoping to demo your unit." - Cindy "Well I would have to boot up first." - Adam Other notes: "We got to get moving. These bastards are on the phone lines!" "It's just a woman driving the car, shoot her!" - KGB Navigator Loads of genital mutilation in this movie. Computers, gun shots, and knives to peoples junk. How long was that sex scene in the train car? It was day light when it started but pitch black out when the sniper was watching them bang.

There is a computer kicked into a mans dong within the first 2 minutes of this movie. Classic.
