This first clip with Lizzy Caplan just leaves me totally, utterly, inexplicably cold. Like, the only episode of CBB I couldn't finish listening to. What is wrong with me?
-
A fucking great episode. The post-interview sketches were off the charts. Some amazing banter too.

Li'l Gary passed through my thoughts the other day. It's been too long since he last showed up to divide listeners.

Besser's Neil Young's rendition of Frosty the Snowman made me indescribably happy.

"I Walked on the Sidewalk", a shocking film about the dangers of statism.

What do you guys think?Â
I think it's a good idea, hopefully it works. You definitely picked the right episode of the show.
-
So why is this on Earwolf Presents when it's an older episode of a regular podcast?

God, that Poe sketch.

Ya, I just checked the forum as he started saying it. But he did throw in a couple new details, and considering how many appearances he's made its not surprising.

A person only has so many stories, and it's still a funny one, I cast no aspersions.

Has Sean Conroy told his story about sewing a vest on the show before? Not that I'm complaining, just making sure I'm not crazy.

This was an, erm... RIOTous episode. "Kid, you're hired!"

Excellent, danke.

Anyone remember which episode has the scene where a guy's dad, who has a halting, Rodney Dangerfield-esque accent, is watching his son through a peephole or something? His enunciation of "this is weird" is embedded into my brain. "This is we-yud!"

I don't consider myself a prude, but there is something about the idea of people having sex while listening to Improv 4 Humans that disturbs me...
Â
I'm for it as long as it's at least sex4humans.

Being on two different episodes is too overwhelming. I may faint.

This is easily an all-time classic episode.

Holy crap! Did I just see Matt Besser in a commercial during the Olympics?
Â
If you didn't, I'd feel embarrassed for yelling out "that's the guy on my t-shirt!" when it played.

The i4h shirt works well for me because I am also a man's head on a dog's body.

Yeah I had to stay up for this. I wish there was a spinoff show with just these four people every week.

Howard gave a bit of a summah sermon there at the end. "Blessed be those who have a little belief," sounds appropriate for a Sermon on the Dune type of situation.

I have to admit I felt a little sorry for Eric the Paid Intern, but I was bent over laughing along at his headphone mishaps. This was a great feature to build an episode around.

I'm a comparatively short time listener, but an avid one, and I'll say that Scott always gets good acts on when the time comes for a musical guest. Infer my point, if you will.

Did the tears streaming down my face come through in my voice?

I hope you had some system of retaining and reusing that moisture.

Episode 59 — Gun Control
in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Posted
This episode had some pretty fucking great improv spun out of the interview, so I feel it's a totally worthy feature. I guess it did take up a chunk of the show since they didn't break it up with any scenes, but... I dunno. One thing that initially really grabbed me about the show was the at times serious and interesting tangents that come out of one-word suggestions, et. al., that weren't really about improv at all, so I like when the show digresses into that stuff, be it from callers or what have you.
