This was so, so good. The only thing better than PFT's patented off-mic laughter is PFT knowing and singing along to "You Got Me Rockin' Like a Dinosaur". It sounds like the Bachelor sisters are a product of superfecundation.

Episode 000 — The Teaser Episode

Every time I go to the Earwolf front page today, I'm delighted by how similarly Andy is positioned in the main episode photo and the show logo. -
Episode 000 — The Teaser Episode

This was pretty great. February 2014 will be even greater. -
One of the top five documentaries was "Big Star - Nothing Can Hurt Me" and you were all pretty clueless about them except for Howard knowing the Replacements song "Alex Chilton". You played a little bit of a song ("September Gurls", I think) and someone speculated that they were country. More like "power pop".

Um, you guys... Jessica St. Clair @Jessica_StClair 1h Marissa "The Womps" Wompler spent Friday afternoon with Don Dimello, her hollywood mentor. Things got weird. @TVsAndyDaly (Maybe this is tomorrow's CBB, but either way, holy fuck.) -
Was anyone else hoping for a "That's Sherry fer ya!" during the Sherry's Berries ad?
-
Yes, well said. The only movie where I felt like they misjudged the tonal intent was Spice World, but I'd still never make the argument that that isn't a bad movie.
-
Count me in for another Big Star endorsement. I've actually got Nothing Can Hurt Me on its way from Netflix right now. Room 237 is next level bonkers, in a fascinating sense.

Clip: Angry Trumpet Fighter Speaks with Matt Besser
Kickpuncher replied to ThomasOOO's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
I was actually wondering about that. Was he aware that there would be improv scenes based on the interview? I don't feel like they directly made fun of him, but it made me wonder if Matt agreed to something like "I agree with you and I won't make fun of you, but I can't make any promises for my guests." -

Episode 111 - Six Inch Witch
Kickpuncher replied to pdxsean's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
AMAZING episode. Love all four of these guys, my only complaint is that Sean and Billy sound very similar when using their natural voices, which makes some scenes a little confusing. Doug was a great combination of reasonable and eccentric.- 28 replies

Episode 67 — Baby Donut

Glad to hear that Jake's "woof" pronunciation extends beyond the name of this website. Really good episode! -

I watched this week's episode's last night, and one clear indicator of when the footage was shot is the color of his beard. Totally black in the old footage, very grey in the front in the new stuff. Both of these episodes had the "Brody Knose" sit-com segments, which I'm 99% sure are new, and are amazing.
-
Nice to see that AMC is keeping up their tradition of great Sunday night programming.

Negative ions can carry positive energy! YES! In one of the weirder coincidences of my life, when Howard asked Brody "Have you ever carried a hammer? Have you ever hung a picture?", at THAT EXACT MOMENT, I was hammering a nail into my wall to hang a picture. Congrats to Brody on his induction as the inaugural member of the Whooch Five-Timers Club (unless you count his percussion-based appearance on a live episode, in which case he was already in).

Sure, that makes sense. But, unless it's too hard to record a live episode on a Friday and post it the following Tuesday, it would seem to make more sense to release a Christmas movie episode before Christmas, then Crossroads later.
-
Not to get too Comic Book Guy-ish, but David got the reference slightly wrong - The line was for the Itchy & Scratchy movie, not "a boy band concert".
-
Yeah, the only reason I thought they might break from that is to get them out before Christmas. I figured one of them would just be episode 78.
-
Logistical question, does anyone know if those two live shows will be released as podcasts? Unless they're released separately in the store, there won't be time to get them in before Christmas (unless one or both comes out on the 24th without a mini-ep). For Crossroads, this has to be on TV at some point in the next week, right? My cable company carries like ten 'music' channels, just about all of which show movies, and I feel like Britney/this movie spans genres enough that it could air on any of them, and this seems like a logical time to show it since she has an album out.
-
Well, I guess "That was a delightful episode and I don't see how anybody could possibly not like it" is a thought I'll never have again. Four very funny people, great chemistry, tons of laughs.

Ha! Yes. Yes I do.
