Phish letting people do it and it being "perfectly legal" aren't the same thing. Like I said, Phish could decide that they don't want to let people do it anymore. For some dude posting bootlegs on the Internet, that's not really a problem, but for a reputable media company (which obviously is a for-profit business), that's probably not a chance they'd want to take.

Episode 174 — Jumping The Korean Baby Ghost
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Sklarbro Country
Yeah, it's a little hard to buy the "People think I party too hard, but..." routine after, with no prompting, you tell multiple stories that involve heavy drinking and negative consequences. -
Episode 108 — I Do Muther-F-N-improv!

McKay SHATTERED the I4H record for most narration in a single episode here. Awesome episode, great callbacks. -
Wow, that one's going way back.

Episode 64 — Heavy Metal Parking Lot
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
Too late, but this episode was a lot of fun anyway! Lancelot Link: Secret Chimp is fucking awesome. Between two Files episodes and the news that Kony is close to being found, this must be the best day of Jake's life. -
SO MUCH LAUGHTER. This episode was pretty glorious. The Ghost of Richard Harrow is such a fantastic character. "Black cat on a fence."

Apparently.

I think you're severely over-rating the fame of SOAD and/or severely under-rating the fame of the Kardashians. I bet it's a lot closer to "one" than "every single one".

Howard's tales of hot water-less woe were hilarious, but yeah, that must be incredibly frustrating...FUCKING HAMMERED.
-
That reminds me, Janet is clearly above the law, because she said "shit" twice and "fuck" once (although that was largely muted by someone talking over her) and was never chastised by Tig.

Thank you! So if you have a rush of double blood to the head, it makes you double dizzy.

OK, cool. I couldn't tell if the "likewise" in your post was meant to include that part or just the "saving it" part. So here's a spoiler - YOU'RE IN FOR A REAL TREAT! -
Oh, Jesus. Good catch. That's just awful. So not only did this episode feature Zouks and Zuker, but the movie included a character named Zukov?! Zouks, there it is, indeed.

This may have been my favorite PB episode ever. Janet is the best. The "double dizzy" reminded me of a previous running joke about "double [something]", but I can't remember what it was. Anyone? (It's also possible that I'm thinking of something totally different.)

I appreciate wanting to hold off on listening, but regarding "spoilers", I think we should be allowed to discuss the thing that this thread is devoted to discussing. If you don't want anything spoiled, maybe just avoid this thread. -
I forget what prompted it, but fairly late in the episode (after Ventura had already come on), James had a REALLY hard out-of-character/-off-mic laugh. Anyone remember what that was?

I don't think that would be legal. I don't know if there's a hard limit, but you'll generally only hear ~30 seconds of a song on podcasts because anything more than that would require getting rights to play it. It might be different if they were consistently talking over it, though. Then again, given that all of this deals with recordings that are technically illegal and can't be bought from the artist/label, it's pretty safe to say that no one would pursue it, but I'd guess Earwolf would still rather avoid that sort of thing entirely.

Thanks Gabe. The subject was store orders. On my home computer last night, I was using Windows 7 and Firefox 25. I just did it again from my work computer using Windows XP and Firefox 14. The captcha properly displayed the first time today. It gave me a blank page in the same way after I hit send, but this time I immediately got an e-mail confirmation, so it looks like it didn't work last night and did work today. Let me know if you need any other info.

Oh yes, this is AMAZING. -
They're on after Doug Loves Movies at UCB on Tuesdays, and DLM almost always runs slightly over its allotted time. Fun episode, good mix of guests.

Episode 151 — Redeemed or Unredeemed, Hashtag!
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Who Charted?
I'm finally getting around to the PFT Go Bayside episode, and it's every bit as good as advertised. My favorite parts so far are PFT's indignity at the shoddy set design of the movie theater and him managing to work in an Uatu the Watcher reference. Addendum - Of course, after I wrote that, he reset the PFT Referometer back to zero by having a VERY in-depth discussion of paying for the rights to "Happy Birthday" and neglecting to mention Those Old Spinsters Mildred & Patty Hill. -
UPDATE! The pendulum has swung back the other way with Howard appearing on tonight's CBB.
