    Episode 236 — Murderer Heaven

More Richard Harrow! Boardwalk Empire's Richard Harrow: Murderer For Hire from Paul F Tompkins

    Episode 242 — Veggie Dongs

Tyne Daly, #RIPossible? I think "my wife" is officially a thing of the past. Three or four straight episodes where the phrase has been used with no embellishment.

    The World's End

Maybe it's just me, but for me, the only thing that was controversial about the ending was that a certain thing only tangentially made an appearance.

    The World's End

You rascal! I saw it this weekend and liked it a lot too, although I'd rank it slightly below Shaun (which I just watched last weekend). (Side note, I was mildly disappointed with The Way, Way Back. I liked it, but even within that very small niche, I enjoyed The Kings of Summer more.)
  5. I took forever to get to this one, but I loved it. I expected that he would be a guy who takes himself very seriously, but if he did, he would have had to get infuriated by Jeff laughing at so many things, and I don't get the impression that he's willing and/or able to hide it if he gets infuriated by something. Overall, I didn't think Jeff's interruptions were any worse than usual.

    Favorite Character Name

I just found out that Ethan Hawke's character in Getaway is named Brent Magna.

    Episode 143 — Normies

The 'guest charts' were better when it was basically the guest having to wade through the swamp that is Howard Kremer's brain in order to decipher what the hell he was getting at. The interns are too good at coming up with logical, somewhat-easy-to-guess entries.

    HAVIN' A SUMMAH 2013!

I just got mine (green "Have a Summah") yesterday!

    Episode 70 — Gymkata: LIVE!

My assumption was that she was a groupie who wanted to meet him, but they put a stop to any would-be hanky-panky because of the urgent matters at hand. But yeah, bonkers.

    Episode 96 — Jackie Robotson

I love Star Wars and the Muppets, but have no idea what he looks like.

    Fuckin' Floyd Gondolli, man.

When you reach Thorg status, you just go by one name.

    Episode 161.5 — Sklarbro County 66

This was a good episode, and I appreciate that when discussing Sean's Mets fandom, they didn't bring up Matt Harvey and his boundless-and-not-at-all-at-risk-for-injury future, or I might have thrown my phone out of the bus window.

    Episode 143 — Normies

Awesome episode, tons of extremely funny little moments, great job by Natasha and Kumail. But the title should have been "Dazzle me, Dalai!"

Episode 119 — Live from Brooklyn / Habits

Totally agree with all of this. Loved this episode.

    Episode 70 — Gymkata: LIVE!

This episode was so great, especially the two times where Jason really loses his shit. You really have to see this movie to understand how many things are next level bonkers and/or make no sense within the context of the movie. According to Showalter, everyone in The Twenties is in their twenties. Hmm... I was glad that June brought up the scene where the princess (or Indonesian Isla Fisher, as I came to think of her) speaks for the first time, but she actually undersold what I thought was the most batshit part of the entire movie. Not only was it not in any sort of dramatic moment, but after 15 minutes of her not speaking and him trying to get her to speak, she makes a complete throw-away comment about the razor-shooting gun, and HE HAS NO REACTION AT ALL. It's not even just his usual non-expressive acting, because there was no line where he expresses surprise, and no reaction shot of him.

Episode 241 — The Stallone Bros.

I would guess it wasn't planned, because they didn't go through the charade of break/guests "left the room"/other people enter. I'm glad they brought up Bill Diesel, because it would have been even more ridiculous without acknowledging that. Super funny stuff all around.

    Episode 69.5 — Minisode 69.5

I didn't want to get into specifics that they might cover in the episode, but this was one of my biggest questions. I assumed not (mainly because the agent said something about it helping his Olympic training), but if that was the case, why the hell would he agree to do it?

    Episode 240 — #TheWorldsEnd

Looks like The World's End came in at #4 in this weekend's box office. At this rate, Edgar is only three movies away from having a #1 hit!

    Episode 69.5 — Minisode 69.5

Twenty minutes in, I think this one comfortably earns NEXT LEVEL BONKERS status.

    Episode 240 — #TheWorldsEnd

So, I'm watching Shaun of the Dead right now. In the scene where the zombies first attack their house, they throw records at them in defense. After vetoing a few potential choices, the first one that Shaun approves for throwing? The Batman soundtrack! I can't believe Scott didn't call Edgar and Simon out for this.

    Episode 142.5 — TWO CHARTED 81

I love that Howard seemingly thinks the Hyperloop will 1) go to every town in America, and 2) be free to ride.

    Episode 240 — #TheWorldsEnd

Scott missed golden opportunities for "my wife" and "iPad, iPod...", but other than that, great episode! Really looking forward to TWE, might watch the first two of the "trilogy" this weekend to get extra fired up.

    Episode 142 — Bullshark

I mean, I knew it was virtually impossible, but yes, that was absolutely the first thing that came into my head.

    Episode 95 — I Pet A Tiger!

Great flow and connections between scenes.
