Episode 51 — REWIND THIS!
Kickpuncher replied to Brett Arnold's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
The struggle over keeping/dumping/upgrading movies on physical media may be the defining issue of my generation. Cool episode! -
Come on, that's not a real word.

Titanic loosened your proverbial tear jar*, which Paulie then opened. *not to be confused with a tear basin

Episode 118 — Live from Seattle/ Bioenergy
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Professor Blastoff
Who was Kyle impersonating in the promo? Jack Nicholson? Good episode, one of the better topical discussions yet, especially with the audience Q&A. -
We had a field day with that one in the live VPN show thread.

Also, "the kill of karate"? I don't think killing is really a central tenet of karate.
-
OH, I just thought of something! This episode has the potential for a lot of "What is a street fighter?" style discussions.

Episode 66 — Demolition Man: LIVE!
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
If it results in an equally funny Weekend Update segment, I'm OK with that. -
Yay! Paul F. Tompkins @PFTompkins 1h More soon! // “@BowfaceAndy: @PFTompkins your Richard Harrow is the funniest thing I've seen all year. Thank you!”

"That would be like Sascha Baron Cohen saying 'Borat is based on my life'." Paul, I think you meant "my life!"

I don't know if he was trying to be meta, but it was a little weird that he told virtually identical birth stories as himself on I4H and as a character here. Regarding "My wife", this episode was like an answer to the question "What would CBB be like if the movie Borat didn't exist?" Favorite goofy reference/callback: "I'm a little peeved." "Are you cheesed?"

Loved the Canseco story. Doug Benson and the Sklars have both mentioned slow ticket sales in Tempe for recent/upcoming shows. Fuck Tempe.

Episode UCB2 — Bonus: Ask The UCB 2
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
This was really fascinating and, whether fully intentional or only a nice side effect, was a really good advertisement for the UCB book, because it made me want to dig deeper into this stuff even if I have no real desire to get into performing improv. -
Did anyone notice that Jason's character was called "Emeril Luigi" in the opening credits, and "Emeril Lugosi" (which makes a lot more sense) later?
-
Just in the first segment of tonight's episode, we got a "Gilly!" "Sorry." and a reference to a life-threatening egg allergy on an episode which features Jason Mantzoukas. Amazing.

Ku just tweeted a shout-out/link: http://shirtnerdery.com/summah

The hippie story was great, as was the rest of the tour re-cap. A few other bits of the usual nonsense made for a nice return for the "dream team". I see some good guest host suggestions in this thread, but none as good as Bob Balaban.

Episode 94 — Hands In The Air
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Yeah, I'm not gonna just blindly click on a YouTube link in a thread that has largely been about bestiality. -
Seeing the photos from today's Tooch, I think I have to withdraw this statement.

Gifts without the gifts theme? THIS IS A TRAVESTY!!!

You'd think the CBB TV show would have surpassed that by now.

No shout-out to the Choctaw during the Shark Tale discussion? Kulap was definitely missed on that one.

"We only do that on 1, or on random ones that I decide."

That Movie Chart graphic was glorious.
