King of the Hill is one of my all-time favorite shows (and I think it's sort of an under-appreciated classic in the comedy world), so this was a real treat.

You guys obviously aren't familiar with the idea that there are a ton of differences between New York and Los Angeles, many of which are very comedic!

Episode 16 — Vince Gilligan
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in By The Way, In Conversation with Jeff Garlin
Great episode. This is the first extended interview I've heard with Gilligan, and he seems like a really humble, good-natured guy. -
It's an entry in his chart, so you'll be able to tell when they intro it. I'd guess it lasted 5 minutes. I'm a big Lakers fan and I do have a tendency to get emotional over sporting events, and even I thought that part was super weird.

At first, I thought that Tito Ben was way too reliant on the audience knowing and being amused by the fact that Filipino people apparently use incorrect consonant sounds when speaking English, but he gradually won me over. Great charac. My favorite moment was Scott saying "Like the pilot on the U2 360 tour?"

Episode 93 — LIVE from DCM 15 Pt. 1
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
That was amazing when he just shouted out "RYAN'S GETTING HIS DICK SUCKED!" I don't think that's how anyone expected that scene to go, but it worked really well. Really great episode overall. If Engineer Brett ever becomes rich, can we start calling him "Aspirational Mustard"? -
This didn't feel at all like Who Charted, but it was still a really fun 88 minutes. I know everyone is worked up about having a substitute host, but still, I can't believe no one has mentioned the single most important part of this episode - THE RETURN OF ENTOURAGE WOODY ALLEN! (The return of Comedy Credits was a close second.) Also, an alternate title suggestion: Too Many Wolverines

Because no one ransacks a house with footballs. I usually get annoyed with such riff-heavy episodes, but this was a goddamn delight. Lots of really funny bits, and Katie did a really good job when given a chance and seemed more than willing to go with the flow when not.

Episode 92.5 — Bonus Cut: Breakfast Vouchers
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
It was funny, but the Professor Blastoff crew have raised the bar too high in the world of barbershop harmonizing on Earwolf podcasts. -
Ich bin ein dapper comedian.

Tucker & Dale vs. Evil (2010)
Kickpuncher replied to chunkytehgooch's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
I don't think it's "charmingly bad" at all. It's really good. -
I listened to this today after watching live, and I agree that it's one of the best of the year. "Spider web" is one of those insanely funny things that only PFT could come up with; it wasn't enough to say "boo" and "clanking chains" (which is at least a sound), he had to take it up another level and say something that is purely visual. Just brilliant.

That discussion (and that line in particular) is just begging for an Animashup.

That cha-ching bit might have been the hardest I've ever heard those two laugh, too. Maybe it was just more obvious because it's harder to hide on video than audio.

Hey, hoping Brett or someone else here can answer this - Can the HAS commentary tracks be downloaded from SoundCloud? The options I see are play/stream, Like, Repost, Add to set, Share, and Buy (link to Bandcamp). Do you have to be signed in, is it just not possible, or am I missing something?

The group they managed to cast for that opening scene is pretty amazing given the profile and budget of the movie. I genuinely enjoyed this movie and think it's sort of knowingly bad, but I agree that it could make for a really good HDTGM Christmas episode. I mean, if nothing else, they could talk for at least five minutes about how it's (presumably) the only movie with a climax based on CURLING.

Episode 48 — A Pound of Spiced Ham

Cool, thanks for replying. This is why Earwolf is the best! -
Oh shit, PFT on every show of the next CBB tour!

Guys, this is fucking amazing.

Well, I guess I'm gonna have to start watching Boardwalk Empire.

Oh no he won't! Paul F. Tompkins @PFTompkins 1m Hey, maybe you should watch @ComedyBangBang live right now on @VideoPodcastNet NO SPECIAL REASON http://www.zapstraighttoit.com

Regardless of the guest, I would be perfectly satisfied with a show that was nothing but 75 minutes of Scott vamping for time.

I'd strongly prefer Zouks, but never the less, I'm ready for some Hollywood Early Evenings!

Episode 48 — A Pound of Spiced Ham
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
Totally. Too bad I4H still comes up first on the rotating front page, per a seemingly predetermined constant weekly order. But yeah, really fun episode. Fallon is one of those rare guys who seems to be universally beloved by everyone who's ever met him, and this is good evidence as to why.
