Awesome. Now we just need a non-white shirt to create a Summer Glau COMBO BREAKER style gif. Of course, that would require Zouks to actually wear a non-white shirt, so never mind.

Episode 61 — Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot

I mean, would YOU risk someone getting their hands on the mythical white shirt stash? -
Fun fact, Eddie's laugh has been proven to cure cancer. "Pin Interest" is the most endearingly funny out of touch old man phrase ever. Kulap really kept things moving here, somewhat awkwardly a few times, but still a great episode. Was that particular Chart Goose topic making its first appearance since the Sarah Silverman episode waaay back near the beginning?
-
Ha, yeah, I was glad when the topic shifted more towards nerdy stuff they've each done, because the definition/classification discussion is incredibly played out and ultimately pretty pointless. Still a really fun episode overall. Anytime we get new tales of embarrassment from Kyle's childhood, it's a guaranteed hit.

Episode 61 — Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot

I think my favorite part of the episode was Jason's reaction to June and Paul's semi-endorsement of Off Their Rockers - "WHAT are you TALKING ABOUT?!" Between the Woody Allen discussion, the Bynes-Lohan debate, and the aforementioned hilarity, this may have been the most divergent episode ever. If someone could provide a screen cap of Sylvester and his kitchen decor, that would be fantastic. Or if you know approximately how far into the movie it happened, I can find it in Netflix. -
Nope!

I definitely got a Frank Underwood/Paul Rust combo vibe from Neil's character, but it was still great. Incidentally, Frank Underwood was in an a capella group in college, so it would be pretty great if this character returned and did a guest spot with the Washington Monugents. Kristen (especially the voicemail song) and Michaela (especially the casual "reveal" that she was Scott's therapist) were both really funny, good episode overall. I was really annoyed that Kristen's special aired at such a weird time with relatively little fanfare, and it seems like they never re-aired it, so I'm glad that the DVD is so cheap (yes, only $8 on Amazon - support Earwolf!).

On a similar note, it's kind of weird that Dan Van Kirk is listed as a guest on every single episode of Sklarbro County.

Great episode, Paul seems really cool. Always loved him in Curb and had no idea that he was so prolific.

"Human Centipede Style" is a great concept, but it would have been more appropriate if he immediately went into a neighboring strip club.

They're great, but I can't stand the commercials where they brag about being better than Pop-Tarts. They're more expensive, need to be kept in the freezer, and are more complicated to prepare. They fucking better be better! Really fun group and episode. And yes, I like Pop-Tarts.

Absolutely. Scott is the best at it, and I love that the Sklars, Kulap & Howard, and others also put some effort into making the ads genuinely entertaining.

Episode 33 — Fun Calendar Talk
Kickpuncher replied to admin's topic in The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest
I enjoyed that tremendously. Good episode with a few truly bananas clips. And it was released just in time for that kid's Bar Mitzvah (and whatever Jake is doing on 4/27)! -
I listened with earbuds (not we're buds), so I didn't have a big issue with the sound quality, but the whole feel of the live shows is just a little off. Still a really fun episode due to some classic Wieticisms and Funches' infectious silliness. I think everyone could benefit from the self-actualization philosophy of Bob-Marley-by-way-of-Howard-Kremer - "Fuck this, I'm [insert name here]!"
-
If that was something they wanted to pursue, I would think a more realistic version would be some sort of premium subscription model where individual users could choose to pay a periodic fee to get ad-free versions of the shows (and possibly some other benefits).

Oh, so now we're just LIKING posts without even READING them?! Guys, the whole freakin' SYSTEM is breaking down! I'm kind of intrigued by the idea of doing TV shows, but 1) there are so many bad movies out there that it doesn't seem like something they need to resort to (and if they did, it would be a cool spin-off show, but that's probably not feasible for the hosts), and 2) it would be hard to come up with a format for specifically what to watch and discuss. One episode seems like too little, but a whole season seems like too much.

Skip Kendren seems like a really chill bro, I'd love to hang with him some time. This was one of those episodes where I don't generally have any interest in the topic, but the episode kept me interested all the way. George was a really good guest.

Does anyone else currently have earwolf.com (including the banner at the top of the site) directing to the Birdemic episode of HDTGM?
-
Yeah, it's fine now for me too.

If I learned one thing today, it's that "IT'S BEEN" in character voices is pretty much the funniest thing in the world. Best episode of 2013.

Episode 8 — Conan O'Brien
Kickpuncher replied to admin's topic in By The Way, In Conversation with Jeff Garlin
My thoughts exactly. Such a fascinating guy. This is the third long-form thing I've seen/heard him in this week (after panels he moderated on The Simpsons and Breaking Bad), and he's great in all of them. -
Vote for the Top 50 Comedy Bang Bang Guests!
Kickpuncher replied to Johnny Unusual's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
For a list of ten, wouldn't you just assign point values of 25-16? That way, it counts equally, and the only problem is that it makes it slightly harder to get to 50 total vote-getters. -
I don't either since she was talking about cups. I think Howard was genuinely confused and being inquisitive, but (possibly in part because he was annoyed by not knowing what she was talking about) sounded like he was trying to bust her balls about it, so she reacted accordingly.

Sounds fun. Two questions: 1) Listing 25 is probably more work than I want to put into this. If we want to submit a shorter list, is that OK? Sounds like it would work out with the way you're tallying points. 2) Would someone who's played multiple characters just count as one all-inclusive entry?
