Episode 15 - Carly Fiorina Has A Fetus In Her Purse
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hard Nation
This show is so wonderfully fucked up, and I think the Fiorines reached a new level. -
Can't wait for the first "mini"sode that crosses the one hour mark.

Episode 67 - A Comic Book Shop (w/ Phil LaMarr, Craig Cackowski, Nyima Funk, Marc Evan Jackson)
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
He definitely did. I also caught the Spider-Man theme, so I'm guessing he was going with a super-hero motif for the comic book store, and maybe played the Indy theme instead of the (somewhat similar) Superman theme? Anyway, great episode, and it felt like the improviser intro chats were even sillier and more fun than usual. -
Episode 432 - Dana Carvey's Micro-Impressions
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Mine is "Would You Rather". Different strokes, I guess. Great episode, made all the better by not having to work and wait until the end of the day to listen. -
Episode 14 - Live from the Kennedy Center (w/ Jimmy Williams, Jessica McKenna, Ben Kissel)
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hard Nation
I'm glad that the lofty setting didn't keep them from getting as weird and occasionally gross as usual. Great episode! -
Oh, cool. He mentioned the new website a bit last week, so I guess it's a logical transition.
-
Yeah, sad news. Sounds like he'll keep doing the show elsewhere, at least.

Episode 309.5 - Sklarbro County 214 (w/ Geoff Tate, Doug Benson, Kenny Stevenson)

Great ep! -
Episode 66 - Hamilton on Broadway
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
For all the "rapping" in this episode, we were dangerously close to never hearing who someone is and what they're here to say. This was a lot of fun! -
I love that Kristian has already settled into "friend of the show" status to the degree that Scott gets laughs out of openly antagonizing him. Also loving all the great new characs lately.

Episode 16 - At Sea On a Cardboard Boat (Live at the Vulture Festival)

I'm watching CBB and I just saw a CarMax commercial with Andy Daly! -
Episode 84 - Don Fanelli and Laura Willcox: Fixher Upper with Chap and Joyanna

Good one! -
Episode 245 - Wild Horses IV: Please Stop Sign
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Wild Horses IV: Vulva Thunderstorm I'm generally opposed to Crap on YouTube being a produced video that's intentionally funny, but this one was worth it. Great episode, so many funny callbacks. Also, bonus points for the scene where Lauren was a teen not wanting to eat certain foods giving off major Todd/Uncle Scott vibes. -
Episode 13 - The Capital Steps Get Back To Laughing (w/ Baby Wants Candy)
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hard Nation
"Oh really, what's their e-mail address?" -
I'm pretty sure that getting high off banana peels is the basis for the song "Mellow Yellow".

Yes, please continue this new segment. -

RICHARD SPLETT FTW -
If I had to come up with a perfect quote to summarize Zouks' CBB persona, it might be "Smell this dude's finger, it smells like Goop!" The Smashmouth sampler segment was wonderful. C++ episode.

On my TV as I read this - Matt Gourley VW commercial -
U talkin' Oliver Subpodcasts to me? Great guest, great characs, great Scott, C+ ep. Did anyone else notice that Scott made a Bill Carter reference, then Reggie described something similar to the Bill Carter ADPPP episode? And then to top it off, they talked about singing bass in doo-wop a la Hot Dog, and it was all within like 5 minutes.

I can't, but I'm fairly sure that Horatio isn't married.
-
On a semi-related note, it took nothing more than the word "nice" to get that song stuck in my head all day today.

The good thing about episodes where Howard or Kulap is missing is that when they're both back, it makes the show seem even better. I was almost taken by surprise by how much fun this was.
