Episode 291 - The Beauty of the Shakespeare

Who was Johnny Depp? He was really good. Good interview, too. -
I don't but I definitely remember that, and also another story about some anonymous person that he mentioned in this episode (although I forget what that one was even about).

I started watching Love tonight, and it's really good. There's a scene near the end of the second episode that could be called "Blu No-Nos". -
NetflixUK now has Cast Party with a live episode of WSGLL

It is! (Well, in the US, at least.) -
Episode 66 - Mary Holland, Erin Whitehead, Stephanie Allynne: The Room Podcast LIVE from RIOT LA

Really good stuff, and I think everyone honed in on characters that fit their strengths really well. -
I'd even say it was inimitably thick. With all the lyrical liberties they were taking in the Olympic challenge, I was expecting "Heynong, heynong, don't dream it's over". Oh, also, WHAT ARE THE FUCKING ODDS of ear horns being brought up on both Spont and CBB this week?!

Episode 401 - LOVE Is Thicker Than Water

Probably not exactly what you're talking about, but I re-listened to part of this yesterday, and there's a ~2 1/2 minute stretch starting around 1:21:30 that is one of the funniest runs ever, and it includes PFT trying to remember the dimensions. At one point, he starts alternating seamlessly (I mean INCREDIBLY quickly) between Alan and Garry, and Alan says "Eggtown" and Garry immediately says "LITTLE EGGTOWN!", and there's a slight pause and you can just barely hear Gilly go "God dammit" under her breath. -

Yeah, Benny has been hyping it up. "Solo Bolo: Episode Trolo". -
Did anyone else think he sounded a lot like "Mitch"? This one had some real good Wie-Wie rants. A goat standing on a pole?

It's the back-to-back hit of Eggtown and Little Eggtown that really gets me. -
Episode 47 - Pediatrician's Office
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
What are the odds that the old woman with the ear horn would be in the captured frame? Also, WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE?!? -
Episode 47 - Pediatrician's Office
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Great episode! The near-repeat location was really weird, but really, the location could be the same every week and I think they could do 5-10 episodes without much overlap due to the nature of the show. If anyone was wondering, Paul eventually made it onto The Wolf Den. -
Yep, this year's body count is unusually thick.

I've heard of E.T. no homo, but E.T. NEW NO-NO?!? I probably say this about every Gilly/Garry episode, but holy shit, this was one of my all-time favorites. So many amazing call-backs (especially "With this ring, I thee web") and other ridiculous little moments, and the developments in the continuing saga were all great. -
I watched the first two episodes of Those Who Can't and it's pretty good. Worth watching just to hear Jason say "Yyyooouuu GOT IT!" He hasn't been on enough yet to really enter the Pantheon of great Sklarbro characters, but Bill Walton might be the best pure vocal mimicry yet.

That was the best. And calling for her manager was a pretty clever escape. -
The funniest part of that discussion was Howard trying to guess Matty B's favorite musicals, and only guessing shows that he later listed among his own favorites.
-
Longest episode ever? Howard getting free rein to ramble always produces gold. Great stuff top to bottom. Danielle bringing her own chart was cool, but those track intros were a killer (spit it and quit it!).

METZtheband @METZtheband @ComedyBangBang we will write a #heynongman song if Jason Mantzoukas sings it.

I want that t-shirt! I can't imagine anything more fun than a 4-hour Scotty/Zouks podcast.

I hope this Jerry Garcia thing carries on forever. -

Three Adomian characters were more than enough to make this a winner, and everything else was gold, too.
