The only thing I didn't like about the guest is that he seemed to know absolutely nothing about Howard or Kulap, but I guess it's not really fair to expect the guests to do homework in preparation (plus, hearing someone try to untangle the glorious know that is Howard Kremer is always fun). But overall, a very fun episode.

EPISODE 28 - One Hour Photo Shop
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
This might have been my favorite episode yet, just wall-to-wall laughs. Jessica Chaffin is such a lovable scamp. When she came out of the gate with a speech impediment, it felt like a cheap laugh-grab, but then she tied it back to Andrea's retainer, which was amazing. I also loved the interview, particularly the face-blowing discussion and Paul saying "teefies". And I really, really hope that whoever ends up being the guest on the 99th episode will have heard this one, and remembers to make their question "Have you murdered anyone?" -
Great ep, Kyle is awesome. One of my favorite weird Sklarboro quirks is how often the 1980s Cubs come up. Is Leon Durham secretly sponsoring the show?

EPISODE 46 - Stephanie Allynne, Mary Holland, Erin Whitehead: The Sleepover Podcast LIVE

So great. -
I enjoy the Kitchen Countdowns, but yeah, pretty much. To be fair, almost anyone doing a solo podcast isn't great. "Shutinskis"

Yeah, I don't know what Josh was going for with that bit during the music chart, but I found it literally unlistenable and gave up after two songs. Based on the comments here, it sounds like I don't need to go back and listen to the rest.

He's insane right now. Another hat trick in the Champions League yesterday, and I read a stat that he's currently the leading goal scorer in the Bundesliga (actually all 5 of the major European leagues), Euro 2016 qualifying, and the Champions League. (Also, don't feel bad about the 'mis'-pronunciation, because if you ask five soccer experts, they'll probably say it five different ways.)

On the hunt for the onionhead ghost, I presume.

Welcome aboard! A virtual hug and Henderson to you both. Looking forward to checking out Finding the Funny now that the Howl app is available for Android.

Ironically, the album would only be allowed to be 14 seconds long.

EPISODE 17 - I'm Talking About F-L-O-U-R
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Question of the Day
It would never happen, but I think some form of it is a great idea for many reasons. On a related note - Now that it's up and running, it would be really nice if there were some interactive element to this show. They're already, in broad terms, taking questions from the Internet. So why not, at least sometimes, take them from this forum and/or a Twitter account devoted to the show? -
EPISODE 27 - Underneath the Eiffel Tower: Live from Largo
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Yes, please do, because it's hilarious. -
Here's something I've always wondered - My favorite running bit of Adomian's characters is mixing up the Sklars. Does he actually recognize their voices (I know he's in the studio sometimes, but I think he's on the phone more often) and say the opposite name, or do they just do that bit every time he mentions one of their names? Also, this episode was good, but it was really weirdly cut together. Dan clearly wasn't there at the beginning and it wasn't acknowledged (after ~15 minutes, I assumed he just wasn't there, and then he suddenly was), and then at the end, the outro was from an (upcoming, I guess) episode with Kyle Bornheimer. I guess this stuff is unavoidable with the road trips and irregular recording schedule, but still.

EPISODE 377 — Good Night In The Morning

I just listened to her appearance as Beatrix Potter on Dead Authors, and it was fantastic. "I remember that time! I remember that guy! I remember that!" -
EPISODE 27 - Underneath the Eiffel Tower: Live from Largo
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
I could listen to an entire show that was nothing but Scott talking complete nonsense and he and Paul antagonizing each other. The great improv was a nice bonus. -
HAMM! Great stuff. If I can provide one quick well-actually, there was some reservation about getting things right in the Premier League discussion, and then they pretty much nailed everything in the Diego Costa-Arsenal discussion. But then Hamm brought up the Robert Lewandowski 5-goal game, and they assumed that he isn't a regular starter because he came off the bench. In fact, he's one of the ~5 best strikers in the world, and only happened to be coming off the bench in this game.

Unless you listen to almost no Earwolf/Wolfpop shows and/or have a VERY quick trigger finger for cutting off shows at the end of the actual content, it would be hard to avoid. And all I'll say is that I wish I could avoid it. Anyway, I listened to this pretty early in the morning, so I think I think I might have been dreaming when Paul announced that they'd be doing an in-studio episode about a movie that's on Netflix. Yay!

Lots of good lines for the Kremer quote book here. On the point of people not thinking him recording was weird, I assumed he was just holding the phone to his head like he was on a call, so that's what people would assume.

EPISODE 206 — The White Buffalo and the Bickering Duo
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Great MUUUUSICAL GUEST, great improv crew, great ep. -
Like the one that won Best Picture last year? Great ep. The Cupcakes and Podfest stories were amazing. Lots of good Howardisms all around.

HI RANDY! "We talkin' malpractice?!" was, in Hooray Show parlance, a walk-off home run.

EPISODE 377 — Good Night In The Morning

Given how often this happens and the delight in his voice every time, I'm pretty sure this is Paul's single favorite thing to do in life.- 124 replies

EPISODE 26 - Garden of Eden
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Delightful as always. I'm too lazy to look it up right now, but I think there actually is a phenomenon of people getting struck by lightning multiple times. I don't know if getting struck makes you more likely to be struck again or if some people just have a higher probability to begin with, but if you get struck once, you have a much greater chance of getting struck again than the average person. -

EPISODE 377 — Good Night In The Morning
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
This was so completely batshit from minute 1, it was incredible. If there was any doubt about Tatiana being a true CBB fan, it should have been erased when her "keyword" for a Scottish accent/Shrek impression was "Donkey!" I felt like they were kind of nudging Tatiana and Kristian into doing characs, so it was great that they eventually dove in.- 124 replies
