EPISODE 8 - How To Start Conversations with Strangers
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Question of the Day
"The zinc lobby has been really good at fomenting pro-penny sentiment" is not a sentence I expected to hear today, or any other day for that matter. Damn you, Big Zinc! -
EPISODE 24 - Sports Club/Live at Largo
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Wonderful! Agee was great for a first-timer (and non-regular improviser) and Sarah and Jean (TWO WOMEN ON THE SAME SHOW?!) crushed it as usual. I have a growing sensation that Chip Orzabal sounds painfully familiar, but I can't quite pinpoint it. -
Stonestreet was great, but he has some real balls to earnestly say that Modern Family deserves to win the Emmy again. Brendon Small is a goddam genius. "Robert Durst jinxed something, and look, he's nominated for two Emmys!"

EPISODE 11 - Tara Copeland - Spotlight On: Becca Foster
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Womp It Up!
This episode was pretty great aside from Listler inexplicably dropping in a music clip from this century. -
Commentary track collection is out - http://t.co/RctlOtEBKa

One of my favorite episodes ever.

EPISODE 42 - Big Grande: Teachers' Lounge
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus
"Your son Joshua?" Great ep! -
Yeah, he was all over the map with that one. Looking forward to the Summahtology commentary tracks and Ku's mystery project. Also, this -

EPISODE 203 β Bitter Beer Face
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Personally, I'm SHOCKED that Matt doesn't like songs that "tell [him] what to do." Loved the titular scene. And yes, I remember the commercials. -
This is so great. Love the looser format of the first 2/3, and the bonus Womp it Up is a real treat.

EPISODE 23 - A Miami Record Store In 1967
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
A delight as always. And a banner day for hilarious/terrible Beatle impressions on Earwolf.- 17 replies

"Well, every night after the show, he'd get out from behind them and leave." And then I died, and my ghost is typing this.
-
"Penultimour" could also just be "penultimate" (with the last syllable pronounced differently). Incidentally, I believe this was the subject of the Dane Cook/Jessica Alba classic "Good Luck Chuck".

EPISODE 266 β Snohomish (The Other Scalabrine)
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Sklarbro Country
ET Snohomish In case anyone was wondering, Wilmer Flores' career earnings in the majors will be a shade over $1M through this year...so just a bit under their estimates. -
Episode 004 β The Travel Bug with August Lindt
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project
Thank you for bumping this thread. When it was announced that episodes older than six months would be removed from public access, I decided that it wasn't worth going through and downloading stuff, but this reminded me that ADPPP is a worthy (a worthy uh, a worthy uh) exception. I don't ever want to not have access to these episodes, whether it's due to a paywall or some sort of dystopian post-Internet situation. -
Great ep, so nice to have the full trio back together.

EPISODE 21 - A Top Chef Finale Afterparty
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Sounds like a good question for the "Ask Paul!" thread. -
This sounds interesting. More than that, I'm genuinely appreciative (and a little surprised) that, after losing a couple shows, we're getting a new one on Earwolf rather than everything new getting put on Howl.

EPISODE 10 - Jason Mantzoukas - Spotlight On: Eric "Gutterballs" Gutterman
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Womp It Up!
"Listler is Salacious Crumb" killed me. Great ep. Also, I would be happy if Womp it Up permanently moved to Wednesdays. -
The fudge songs run was pretty much quintessential Sklar Brothers.

EPISODE 22 - A Clown Cemetery
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Yeah, that's been made pretty clear to us in the last week. -
EPISODE 22 - A Clown Cemetery
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
It was! One of my favorite things about this show is when someone says something weird (Like "Hand me the sword" as a thing to cut into a cake), and you can practically hear the other performers' wheels turning as they decide whether or not to dig in on it. -
Having the characters and then the main guest was a little jarring, but this was really funny. When they were talking about new beachfront property, I can't believe Scott didn't go into "Wipeout".

EPISODE 40 - Brandon Johnson: Ooh Shit! Thatβs Fashion! with BeLaShange
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus
As soon as Brandon said the name of the show, I was 100% in. As soon as Lauren started talking, 200%. One of my favorite episodes.
