Wonderful! Love all of these guests. If I had more time and/or talent, I would totally do some fan art of a cowardly astronaut dragon.

Since no one has commented yet, allow me to say that I enjoyed this episode very much! -
EPISODE 193 β Into the Thunderdome
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
If any presidential candidate does this next year, they've got my vote. -
We welcome you with open, flannel-clad arms. Howard should stick to today's drink combo, or at least make it a monthly special event.

This was so much fun. "...Daduating?" When Scott stumbled on the idea of today being halfway between Christmases, I can't believe he didn't make the logical leap to calling it "Hump Christmas". Hanford's improv is so, so bad and I fucking love it.

Oh, there's definitely that, but I feel like that exists separately from the perceptions I'm talking about. Although maybe not, if people see those (either reading them or just knowing of their existence) and mentally conflate them with reviews.

Good episode. Regarding the titular discussion, there seems to be this weird disconnect about the critical reception to Jurassic World. Kulap (or maybe Drew) is the 3rd or 4th person I've heard/read who seem to think that it was panned, which really isn't the case. I'd say the reaction has been middling at worst, and have read a few enthusiastically positive reviews and nothing outright negative.

Snarky, but honest answer - Just spend one hour of your life listening to one episode and you'll get a much better idea than from anyone's description, and you'll probably enjoy it. More thorough answer - Each week, Kulap, Howard, and the guest briefly discuss each of the top five chart entries for the week in music (rotating chart, often as simple as Billboard Hot 100 but sometimes more unique) and movies (weekly box office). This is always sprinkled with more varying discussions with the guest, including a "Tweet Chart" where they answer five questions submitted by listeners on Twitter.

EPISODE 13 - A Dental Convention in Scottsdale, Arizona: Live from Largo
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
If Paul did read this, I'm guessing he'd be more likely to side with the ten positive comments she gets for every appearance than with this, but nice try. -
EPISODE 13 - A Dental Convention in Scottsdale, Arizona: Live from Largo
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
I think Paul confirmed on Twitter today that it was. This was a nice follow-up to Colin's appearance on The JV Club, which I just listened to yesterday. Am I crazy, or did someone (most likely Paul on last week's CBB) recently (after this would have been recorded) reference the prayer hands and how they associate it with Jeremy Piven? -
Here's a full video podcast with her and Riki and the hat: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHeyqMGXZDQ Really loved this episode, everyone brought their C+ game.

Everyone look for the Easter Egg in the credits.

EPISODE 256 β Sepp Blatter's Golden Cell Phone
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Sklarbro Country
Did someone (presumably Engineer Cody Cody) accidentally delete the folder with the Sklarbitration themes? Because this is the second time in the last couple months that they've basically done one without calling it that. -
I was so happy when Ku called Howard out for steam-rolling her chart. I love Wie-Wie as much as anyone, but it drives me crazy when he does this virtually every week. Anyway, fun episode as always. Can't wait for Summahtology to drop.

EPISODE 31 - Cameron Esposito: Chick Chat with Bishop Gertrude Steinham

It also sounds like she's down with the Have a Summah movement. -
EPISODE 192 β Ryan Bingham and the Candy Colored Dreams
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
^ That is FUCKING GREAT. During the newborn scene, when someone came in and said the baby looked like Eugene, I was hoping they would call her a mini-mini-Rock or micro-Rock. Also, that was my favorite scene. Mary's voice when she said "What are you doing right now?!" was so funny. -
Hey Nong, don't make it man, Take a catchphrase and make it better

EPISODE 12 - The Waiting Room at An Oil Change Place
Kickpuncher replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Don Demillo has a podcast?! I didn't realize that the ADPPP was like the Earwolf Challenge where there would actually be a winner. -
Between no guest last week and a guest who is a friend of his this week, we're getting some raw, unadulterated Howard on Twooch and I love it.

Wengert's Daylight Savings Time riff was amazing. Great episode.
-
She was also in the "White Bear" episode of Black Mirror, which is maybe the most bonkers episode of a completely bonkers series.

MITCH!!! Great bunch of people, great episode. -
This was so, so good. Things I particularly love: - Jason's super-high-pitched wheezing laughter - Paul's palpable delight anytime Jason challenges Scott - Knowing there would be a bunch of fan art in this thread, and still being amazed by it
